What an incredible grill! As soon as it was delivered, I grilled a New York Strip Steak. Because of the two plates, the steak was a medium rare in no more than 5 minutes. And it was delicious, complete with grill marks. The best part was cleaning it. After letting it cool down, I wiped the larger debris with paper towels, then wiped both plates with a soapy sponge.

I am highly impressed with the performance of this Chefman Panini Press Grill! It heats up incredibly fast and the floating hinge easily adjusts to fit everything from thin grilled cheeses to heavily stuffed panini sandwiches. My only reservation, and the reason for dropping one star, is that it completely lacks temperature control. Because it runs at a single, preset heat level, you have to keep a very close eye on your food to ensure it doesn't burn before the cheese is fully melted inside. Despite that limitation, it is a sleek, reliable appliance that does its job very well.

Really a minus 3, but you would see it. No on/off, no temp control, no quality. Burnt the outside of the bread without even warming up the cheese inside.
