The home screen will not work

Would not buy this product again. The screen and everything worked as it should when it was installed. Had it on for maybe a 2 weeks and screen developed a big line down the middle and the bottom third is has a bunch of lines across the keyboard.

The metal bracket on my old screen was stuck due to a stripped screw holding it on. This was absolutely perfect had all the parts I needed and a few extra. Love it!

Easy and life saver

Home button still didn’t work and the fingerprint touch no longer works as well, better to keep the old one on a least the touch worked. Sensor doesn’t work too. Don’t recommend buying the home will not work unless you have Apple replace it.

I tore the original front facing camera ribbon when attempting to transfer it to a new display. This along with the other accessories saved my screen repair project. Couple notes: the description says the home button included in this kit is NOT Touch ID enabled. Apparently, Touch ID buttons are factory matched to the phone so the replacement will not have the same functionality as the original. Thankfully, I was able to salvage the original home button. Deducting one star due to the camera ribbon not fitting the same as the original but I was able to make everything work. I recommend buying one of these kits with a new display kit given how easy it is to loose or strip the small screws. Even the back plate came in handy.
