Colorful AND helpful
Upped my pickleball game. This allowed me to hit the ball with far more accuracy from the beginner paddles I started with.

The paddle looks good, but has very little spin. Core is good, but will pass on this.
Update 07/10/2024:Go feedback from the Seller than the surface material is raw carbon fiber with surface texture technology. Not sure what that means, but it is very different from any "Raw Carbon Fiber" paddle that I have played with, or what I expect from a Raw Carbon fiber. And even the "surface texture technology" add little or not friction, hence poor spin capability. The paddle's Core is nice, and I feel it offers nice control. Also, it is definitely nicer looking paddles.Comparing to Raw Carbon Paddles, I was extremely disappointed with the spin and feel of this paddle. However, it can compete well with graphite or fiber glass paddles. However, in this price range, you can get much better paddles.Updating my rating from 1 star to 2 star.If you are getting hooked on Pickleball, just get a real raw carbon fiber paddle, not this "* texture *" stuff.Original Review:Got this because it seemed a great value for a Raw Carbon Fiber paddle. And while I like black and red color scheme, this seemed visually very nice. However this is not a raw carbon fiber paddle. And to make matters, this has extremely poor spin. There is almost no grit. So if you are used to hitting heavy topspin or backspin, the ball will skid instead of gripping the paddle surface. Forget about shaping the shots. I will not recommend this paddle to anyone. There are much better paddles in this price range that are not raw carbon fiber and don’t pretend to be. And if you have gotten hooked on pickleball, I would just get a raw carbon fiber paddle (Gen 1 for beginners and Gen2 thermoformed for intermediate/advanced). They generally gave nice control and touch and retain their good spin capabilities longer than paddles with grit applied to surface. For reference I am ~4.5 doubles player, who likes to spin and drive. Currently playing with PB Apes paddle.

For the price with the coupon it is an INSANE value
Thermoformed paddle with carbon. Feels like butter and has great control and sound is very soft. Only downside is it doesn't seem to be on the USAPA website so you may have issues showing up to a big tournament with it. Also, used a $40 off coupon on this so it was $25 which is nuts for a paddle of this quality. Its outstanding for the price and compares well with $100+ paddles.

$70 is far too pricey for this non RAW CFS...discounted to $60 gets it tolerable on a decent paddle
It barely gets my 4th star when priced at $60...needs to be in $50 range for more confidence in my recommendation. Compared to the raw and frosted CFS (carbon faced surfaces) I've tested, this really needs to be in the $40-55 range to start tugging at my full 5 stars. It IS a great paddle, with decent facial grit and being in the elongated form...There are simply a growing number of options in this current price range that offer higher-end playability, same form, AND with the raw carbon faces.HOWEVER, many owners don't buy equipment on performance or value alone...the LOOK of this paddle, while remaining a competent performer is a great combination for someone wanting a nice looking WHITE-based paddle, if finding the matte black look of RAW a bit on the boring or everyone's-got-it levels of repulsion. :)

Big Sweet Spot, Good Reach, Great Spin
The media could not be loaded. As I think I show in my video, this paddle covers the bases well and does everything the ad promises - some things particularly well. It's a well-made paddle, and I love that the texture is very regular, and very grippy, so it's a control paddle with lots of control and great ability to spin, or even slice, the ball on your returns. The whole paddle (almost) is a sweet spot and that tells me the core is sufficiently soft with good rebound. And it means consistently placed shots no matter where the ball strikes the paddle.Grip has the tape ridges on it that I complain about often, but these are lower and less obtrusive and actually contribute to improved grip. My photos and video show this pretty well, but don't capture the good looking appearance and build quality of the paddle - it looks better in person and you can see the good fit and finish of the build better also when it's in your hand. One of my photos is a close-up of the paddle face so you can see the fine texture with its very good regularity for, again, consistency.I think this paddle will improve the game of most people. My wife has already claimed this one and is playing with it even as I type this review. She just texted me that she loves it, and thinks it gives her better reach. Win-win on this one - I like and recommend this very good paddle.

If you just want something that looks cute but plays pretty well this is for you
If you just want a paddle that looks cute and plays pretty well at a good price this will be much better than a wooden paddle. For 22 dollars a very good value. If you’re just a recreational player this will work for you. As another person mentioned it is not raw carbon fiber which is important if you’re serious about pickleball. But if you’re just playing for fun or to try pickleball out, this will work. It looks even cuter than pictures in person.
