Polaroid Hi-Print - 2nd Generation - Bluetooth Connected 2x3 Pocket Photo, Dye-Sub Printer - Black

I recently purchased the Polaroid Hi-Print and honestly, I love it. I took it with me on holiday and it ended up being one of the best things I packed. Being able to instantly print photos and add them straight into my travel journal made the whole experience feel more personal and memorable. One of my favourite features is the collage template that lets you print up to four images on a single sheet, you can also use templates with frames. It’s perfect for journaling you still get enough detail in each photo, and the size fits really nicely on the page without taking up too much space. The prints themselves are vibrant, clear, and just the right quality for capturing those special moments. Overall, it’s such a fun and easy-to-use little printer, and it’s completely changed how I document trips. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys journaling or wants a creative way to keep their memories. I purchased this from Amazon as a resale, it was perfectly fine it just came without the box and instructions, but they are available online. The image I have uploaded

high quality little pocket printer which makes small wallet sized photos - perfect for journalling/scrapbooking etc. Easy to set up and use (open and go all but!) and the wait time for a print to be done is maybe 30 seconds. Print quality is very good considering the size. Not experienced any jamming. This is the best thing ive bought for myself in a while, love the sticker paper (tip; there is another 2.1 x 3.4” brand out there that makes non-sticky cartridges if you want a solid photo…;) ) Excellent

I wad a bit worried by some of the more negative reviews, but the printer is great. It's lovely to be able to print photos immediately, give them to friends and family in the moment, and the sticker back means you can decorate gadgets, diaries, journals, etc. I've been using mine to record my finished crafting projects. Pictures are small, but sharp and colourful.

Yes it's expensive. Yes the cartridges are expensive too but it's easy to use and has a good print quality. We bought it to take on a European road trip so the children could print pictures for their scrapbooks. It's not something you'd print loads of things from but the pictures have a nice retro feel about them with better puxture quality that won't fade like original Polaroids. The printing paper comes with sticky backs too which is an added bonus.

It does what it says on the tin. It prints small, good quality, sticky backed pictures, which can be printed from your phone via Bluetooth and then stuck in your diary, journal, notebook or picture board. Much better quality than something similar that I bought from a different manufacturer.

I have a different 2x3 printer that uses Zink paper to print the photos whereas this uses the dye sublimation technique. The pictures this unit produces are better in quality. That is the best thing about this printer. However, there are a few things that aren’t so great about this printer: It has an auto power off function that often switches it off while you’re trying to print a photo so you have to switch it back on and hope the app hasn’t frozen. This is the worst thing about this printer. You should be able to adjust the setting for auto power off, and it should not power off when it’s receiving data - this seems like a glaring error on Polaroid’s part. When you buy this printer, no print cartridges are included - you just get the printer itself. No usb c charge cable, no photo paper, literally just the printer. The print cartridges are very easy to use and insert into the machine, although I’d have liked it if they’d been recyclable. Having to use a new cartridge every time you need to add more photo paper also adds to the running costs - a photo printed on this device costs 50% more than one printed on my HP Sprocket. That being said, the picture is larger than 2x3 and is better quality than the Zink photos, but not 50% better! My final gripe is the fact that the adhesive glue in the back of the photos is shockingly bad, they don’t stick to anything for very long. You have to either add glue to the back or stick them down with tape to stop them peeling at the edges almost immediately. I’ve still given this printer 3 stars because the print quality is excellent - great colour, accurate reproduction of the photo, great detail. However, it’s let down by a number of issues that shouldn’t exist in such a premium product. I thought about returning this printer, but the picture quality is very good and I use 2x3 photos quite a lot in my bullet journal. So I’ve kept it, but only print pics I want to be top top quality with it, I use the Sprocket to print out the everyday stuff because it’s cheaper and the photos are still great quality. I give this one thumb up 👍🏼 - great pics but let down by basic problems with auto power off, crappy glue and expensive, non recyclable photo cartridges… and the fact it doesn’t even come with a cable or photo paper when you buy it.

Einfache Verbindung über die App möglich, den Ausdrucken fehlt es für mein Gefühl ein wenig an Schärfe, bzw. weisen sie diese etwas weniger aus, als ich es mir gewünscht hätte. Jedoch erfüllen die Ausdrucke ja vornehmlich den Zweck einen echten Ausdruck zu bekommen und den Moment plastisch festgehalten zu haben. Ich empfehle, den Drucker eher für weniger Komplexe Aufnahmen zu nutzen. Bspw. nahezu bildfüllende Portraits von einer oder zwei Personen oder ähnliches. Für große Landschaften sind die Fotos einfach zu klein finde ich. Es sollte auf jeden Fall bedacht werden, dass zusätzliche Ränder auf dem Papier zustande kommen können, je nach Bildformat. Ansonsten bin ich für den Preis mit dem was der Drucker macht sehr zufrieden. Ich kann selbst mit meiner DSLR direkt etwas aufnehmen, das Foto per WLAN auf mein Mobilgerät oder Laptop übertragen, dort bearbeiten und anschließend drucken.

The pictures came out too dark and even when I increased the export and balanced highlights/shadows, the print still looked terrible.
