I just love this it started in July and goes all the way to the end of next year. It is exactly as pictured -I love that little dragon! It has plenty of room to write what I need and has been a great help to get my schedule organized.

My seven year old granddaughter actually enjoys learning on the Phonics Learning Pad.

No wrapping on it. Batteries already in it. I don't mind a returned item, but the instruction booklet I see in the other reviews is missing. How do we get that?Update 6/24/24The seller reached out and corrected the issue. It went very smoothly. Now that I've read the instructions, I feel like I can give a review based on what info you'd normally receive. Overall, my kids enjoy using it and seem to enjoy the challenge. I think it's a good project, but needs a little more improvement to be a great product.My biggest issue is that you cannot repeat the question without starting over the entire card. Siblings are noisy. Restaurants are noisy. If you didn't quite hear the question, she never repeats it. She keeps saying "I'm waiting...", which doesn't help you.Getting both sides of the card into the slot is challenging for little kids (ahem and some adults). My son bent a few before we worked it out.The red on the card is reddish-orange but the button is a deep red. You have to pause and re-evaluate every time you come to a red or orange answer.I do like the Bambino Tree products and would highly recommend their Win Phonics Card Game.

Just received this and put it together to test it out for my child. I wanted to like this a sensorial learning experience. The way it works is to add a card, then use the slider to slide at a constant speed for it to scan the code at the bottom of the current card you’re using. That starts the activity. Well the issue I have is I have tried the sliding the slider at in consistent speeds, fast or slow or slower. Many attempts at this I was only able to get the activity to start 3 times, though the third attempt was not the same activity on the card. Those times it work I had to have it still on a table top, also tried it holding it steady in my hand tablet style and could not get it to work. I know my child would get frustrated trying to do an activity if she had to keep trying to get the card to register in order to start the activity card. I don’t know if maybe what I received was faulty, but I definitely very frustrated with trying to get this work for us. I will need to return.

Very disappointed. My child was very excited to start using this after Christmas, when I went to put the batteries in, as you will see on the picture submitted, the battery terminal springs were put in the wrong order making it impossible to place the batteries. Very sad.********Update: The company sent free of charge a new unit that works perfectly. Very greatfull to them for that. This gadget helps my daughter with reading, not much else on the market like this. Highly recommend this product and this seller.
