This light is super bright for being so small. It’s just ther goth size to fit onto the smallest wall in our pantry, with enough clearance all around the fixture so I can easily change out the bulbs. I ordered the "KICHLER Aviv 2-Light Wall Sconce, Modern Light with Clear Glass in Champagne Bronze" to replace a wall sconce that seemed much nicer 20 years ago. Four words from the product page impressed me: modern, champagne bronze, and Kichler. The last of these, Kichler, is well-known to my wife and I. We have an extra-large outdoor light and three kitchen pendant lights by Kichler. All four of these are nicely designed, high-quality fixtures. If you are familiar with Kichler lighting products, you know that the brand has been in business for a long time and is highly regarded among its customers. At the same time, you get what you pay for, as they say, and Kichler fixtures tend to be among the more expensive brands.The Kichler Aviv wall sconce is an attractive, modern-looking addition to the space where I installed it. The bronze fixture surprised me when I removed it from its packaging. I've installed several new lighting fixtures around the house, inside and outside, this year, and the Kichler product is unexpectedly heavier, sturdier, and more substantial than others of its size or even larger. Further, the long glass shades are relatively thicker than most other glass shades of this type. Initially, upon ordering the fixture, I was concerned that the shades would be fragile and prone to break easily. Not so. The glass shades are so thick and sturdy that you install them by screwing them into each side of the base. Easy on and easy off, without the usual concern with others about breakage.As you can see from my photos, I inserted a long (8.9") LED Edison-style bulb (8W, 3000K, dimmable) in each side of the fixture. There were no instructions included with the fixture, probably because it's a standard installation that should be a simple enough for a DIY project. As seen on the product page and in the photos, the fixture can be mounted vertically or horizontally (or angled, for that matter).My wife and I like the Kichler Aviv 2-light wall sconce. We're especially pleased with its design and illumination.
