I've been using this for just under a year. I use it twice a week. It's a great value. It smells amazing (so much I want to bottle up the scent as a perfume). My hair is platinum and this shampoo always takes out the brassiness and has it looking bright. After 3 months I do notice a brassiness that needs a professional hand in my opinion, but the shampoo does a great job with longevity. I do typically pair this with a conditioner or follow up the next wash with one because this shampoo can make my hair stiff when it is typically silky soft. I will buy again for the results and value.

My favorite. I apply to dry hair and let it sit for like half an hour. Then I wash it out. Busts the brass for a beautiful cool toned blonde on my highlights. In fact, I exclusively use this as my toner. I refuse to get toner done at the salon because even a 5 volume developer lifts my natural hair to a brassy color. I've tried so many purple shampoos out there. From the most expensive to the drug store quality and this is by far the best one. I love the scent too.

This has been a great, budget friendly soap to help keep the brassy color out of my hair. I use it in conjunction with my salon grade shampoo and conditioner (regular shampoo in roots first, then this purple shampoo, followed by a regular conditioner). I keep the purple shampoo on for a couple minutes to let the color sink in. I’ve noticed my hair looks like a prettier summer blonde without orange colors peeking through. It isn’t so dramatic that I have a purple hue to my hair, which I like. I also have noticed that my hair feels and stays clean and moisturized, just as it felt before using this shampoo. I’m used to using salon grade shampoo and took a gamble with something cheaper. Yet, I haven’t noticed a difference in my hair so far and have used it for about a month! I think it works very effectively. The bottle is sleek, modern, and good quality. I love the little click top that keeps everything very messy-free. Though it leaves very faint purple splashes in my shower that can easily be rinsed off, my hands do NOT turn purple from using this product.

One of the best purple shampoos on the market. I love my hair as ash/cool tone and this definitely does the job. I leave it on my highlighted hair for a few minutes and rinse. Will continue to repurchase.

I’ve been a user of purple shampoo for the better part of 30 years and this is the highest quality I’ve found. The purple color is very dark purple and dense…almost looks black before it’s applied to hair. Obviously follow instructions and don’t leave on your hair too long, but if you’re looking to eliminate brass in blond color-treated hair, this is your holy grail.

This is my favorite purple shampoo. I have tried many, and this is the only one that works and that I continue to purchase again and again. The blonde color I achieve is perfect and it doesn’t damage my hair. Love. Love love. You do have to be careful to not leave it on too long or your hair can turn violet. But once you get the timing down, it is literally perfect every time!

I like the shampoo, but the bottle cap oozes out the product when closing after use. It's a darkly tinted ooze that could stain countertops, showers or shelves, so I have to watch it for awhile after using and keep wiping off what comes out until it decides to stop.

I use this with the conditioner and both leave my hair really soft and conditioned - much better than other brands.
