I have been wearing this since it arrived. It is more comfortable then I expected. All the utility pockets are a bonus to what is a quality jacket. The only drawback is the do not disturb on the sleep flap. For the next manufactoring run I would recommend removing the lettering or making it a removable velcro sign. Outside of that the fllece is soft and warm. the zippers all work, the pockets are fun to play with and are useful for travel. I bought this as a travel jacket and it is quickly becoming my go to jacket. If you are trying to decide on buying a SCOTTeVEST - buy with confidence. I am 5.8 155lbs and the large fits comfortably and the items in the pockets store well.

I opened it today, put it on, loved it!.......for five minutes till I put my hands in the hand warmer pockets, and could see my flesh showing through the left one... of course I thought maybe the package might have been cut or damaged, but I checked, and nothing, and no, I hadn’t opened it with a knife or scissors...So it’s a QC issue.I haven’t got time to send it back because I need it for a trip next week.Great.I guess I’ll just stick some duct tape on the inside.(Original review March 2018)Update, August 10 2019- the duct tape is still there, and no one from Scott eVest ever got in touch, which was kind of surprising. The product itself is great, probably five stars, I’m back on Amazon today to order a size smaller because I’ve lost weight :) however the Quality Control and Customer feedback are one star, so an average three, I’ll upgrade from a two....It’s actually a way better design than that Travel Hoodie that their competitors/copiers were pushing on Kickstarter- it actually looks like a hoodie, rather than an explosion in a geeky zip factory.

My husband is like a kid in a candy shop with this jacket. It’s soft, fits great, but most of all — pockets! The sheer amount of pockets to pack all your need-to-keep-close items when traveling is staggering. It’s very well designed and well made. (Oh, and I love the “DO NOT DISTURB” eye cover in the hood.) I may be getting one for myself next!

We exchanged the medium for a large and my dad loves it’s! Just size up.

Overall I like it well enough. Almost the only choice for a hoodie with several pockets. If there were more competition that did not have the negatives below I would have chosen something else. I would have preferred thick cotton rather than fleece but read many complaints about the pilling with the SCOTTeVEST cotton hoodie that I opted for the fleece. This fleece hoodie is reasonably warm for a thin fleece and thin enough to wear a heavier jacket over it. Love all the pockets, really more than are needed and not all are that useful but better more than needed than not enough and are the reason I bought it.A really major plus is that the five major internal pockets have zippers rather than velcro. The jacket is sturdy enough so that even when carrying an iPad (mini) it is not obvious.A major negative is that when the elastic cuff is rolled down the sleeves are too long (4” when measured) and look odd but when the elastic cuffs are doubled on themselves the sleeves are a bit too short. The two external zippered “drop” pockets above the hand warmer pockets look really dorky; wish these were reconfigured to two vertical chest pockets on either side of the main zipper. The do not disturb writing on the hood flap is probably a manner of taste; I find it ridiculous and annoying but I guess others might find it useful.Sizing: I am a slender male, 5’9”. I kept the small, which is slightly tight on me but the medium was a little too large. Primary problem is the sleeves, which as I describe above, are either too long or too short depending on whether the cuffs are doubled on themselves or not.

I love the products I have owned from SCOTTeVEST, I have owned 3 of these hoodies and 2 of the Revolution Plus Jackets. Its warm and comfortable, holds all my stuff, what else could someone ask for in a hoodie? If you're active and like to listen to music while running or working out its the best, it keeps your phone in a secure place thats protected from moisture and keeps it and the headphone cables from moving or getting in the way running / working out.I like the old design better which didn't have the vertical pockets in the front, it makes the hoodie a little bulky in the front (in my opinion), but maybe that will change or loosen up over time and use.

The hoodie is well made and the material feels nice albeit there are loose threads from the stitching here and there.My only major complaint is with its sizing: I went with M to have it fit in chest and stomach area, which it does just fine, but the sleeves ended up too short for me: I can't pull them over my palms as intended. Had I ordered an L to match my arms length, it would have probably been hugely oversized in the chest/stomach area.Though, that seems like a common issue with hoodies being sized to 'wider' people than myself.A few notes after wearing it for a few weeks:1. The passport/phone pockets are too close to shoulders and will interfere with backpack straps if you carry your passport in a good firm cover.2. The flap on the inside right below the hood in the neck area, covering some cable attachment loops) needs some getting used to and may scratch your neck at first.3. If you carry your sunglasses in a case (like one of those Ray Ban cases), they could feel rather cumbersome on the sunglasses pocket. I found that it's more convenient to carry a sunglasses case in one of the beer/bottle pockets in front.
