Is this packaged in a glass jar?

16 oz jars are plastic. Also available in plastic squeeze dispensers, and I think larger sizes are in glass. (Whatever the packaging, it goes FAST around here!)

Is there an expiration date on the jar ?

Yes there is an expiration date and you should check it! I ordered 2x 36 oz jars of Mayo and they both were due to expire the week I received them. DO NOT TRUST this company to provide you with Duke's Mayo!

what is the difference between regular Dukes and Heavy Duty ?

Heavy Duty Mayo is what restaurants and deli's use for theirsandwiches, etc. It has more egg yolks as well as corn syrup. Thismakes the product heavier, richer, and is made mostly for applicationswhere mayo is a primary or significant secondary ingredient (as insalad dressings and sauces) where the increased egg (and subsequentlower relative water content) allows for a richer, less 'watery'finish.
