*The big Hellmann's tub is a no-brainer if you use a lot* We go through mayo like crazy in this house - sandwiches, tuna salad, egg salad, potato salad. Buying the small jars was getting expensive so I grabbed the big Hellmann's tub. It's just classic Hellmann's - creamy, rich, not too tangy. Tastes exactly like it should. Thick enough that it doesn't run off your sandwich but still spreads easy. I used it for chicken salad yesterday and it was perfect. This tub will last us a good while even using it every day, so it's much better value than the little jars. Came sealed tight, no leaks, fresh date on it. If you already like Hellmann's, just get the big one. 5/5

I’m a Hellman’s fan. This would be great if you are making lots of salads i.e. tuna, potato, macaroni etc. I was planning to make a lot, when I ordered this, but plans changed. So I carefully filled a quart jar at a time, so that the gallon was only opened a few times, and still worked to use it up quickly. Regular subscription price was not much less than buying 30oz jars, and takes up too much space in fridge for everyday use, but it is the genuine item.

Favorite mayo on the cheap? Heck yes. Hellman's is consistently very good, and I'll nab this or the extra heavy, depending on whether the extra heavy is close enough in price to afford. Mild preference for the extra heavy, but it's really close, and the flavor is good on both.

The value of buying this large jar and transferring some to a smaller Hellmann’s container is very cost-effective. Great for large families or if you use a lot of mayonnaise for family gatherings.
