Snowboardings Last Stand: A Samurai and The Slingling

I honestly don’t even know where to begin. I guess I need to thank Jonathan Buckhouse because I would have never journeyed across this book if not for him. This was all due to a snowboard drawing entry about reading this book and doing a review by the end of February the board looks super awesome!!!! I’m always on a tight budget and try to ride as much as possible but live in Pennsylvania not the longest runs around here but we make the most of with when we can this winter has been soo bad for snow super sad i all most feel like im gonna be using the sand soon myself lol. I don’t really read too much but figured I would take a chance on something interesting like this. After receiving the book, my honest thoughts were ...man this is gonna be way too childish for me. Wow was I wrong!! like I always tell everyone about myself please don’t judge this book by the cover this book has grasped me in ways I never thought possible. its such a great compelling story on a warrior like myself going through the world. The book hit so many aspects in my life and touch me in ways. Like I said, I never thought it would. It caused me to outline some things in the book that brought great emotion to me! no matter what happens on this whole situation with his entry, the book was a great read, and a great story with ups and downs. The author, Tom Miller has a great mindset, and did a wonderful job writing this book. It absolutely is a great one to read no matter the age spectrum. I feel that it could be understood throughout any generation, and something will be shared no matter who you are guaranteed. I posted a few pictures and like I said, make sure you slap a sticker on the back of your book because every time your fingers feel that sticker you remember what brought you to this moment in the 1st Place. Evolution! Evolution is a moment of time….. and I hope mine keeps evolving every day to making something better for myself. Snowboarding is quite a gift that all should experience one time in their life. It may not be for everybody, but the ones it is for truly should become one with their reality what a total bliss. Thank you for everything that you have brought upon and helped me with my journey. People are always asking what makes you a better person or a better snowboarder the only thing that makes you better at this is time and more hours on the clock and following ones that know best so look for guidance and keep your head up everyone because everyone has potential just believe in yourself just as the characters did in this book! ✌🏻❤️

From the time I dropped in with this book, it was straight over the cliff from the start!! I started off on my heel edge, and then went full send to the end! The race for first chair will continue! Such a fun read, highly recommend.

I bought this book for one of my teenage grandson's birthday and decided that I should give it a quick read before giving it to him. After reading Snowboarding's Last Stand, my prediction is that my grandson will love this book. The cover and the rest of the illustrations are fantastic, and they are a great compliment to Tom Miller's writing, which was exceptional. The story caught me from the first page and kept me engrossed until I finished the book. The characters are well developed and the plot is tight. Hopefully, Tom Miller will continue with more of his stories soon.

Tom brings a unique blend and style to vastly different hobbies - snowboarding and sci-fi. Enjoying the book; easy read, with visual language, and sick art work. Also bought his movie on Amazon Prime Video, “The Battle for First Chair Opening Day Dreams PinPin 20”. Check it out.

I got this book for my 10 year old who has just found a love for skiing and now wants to try snowboarding. The illustrations are amazing! For a kid that sometimes has a hard time reading he doesn’t want to put this book down!!

I relish how Tom draws comparisons to real life events in his own snowboarding career.The sci-fi twist provides a fun backdrop and I would absolutely recommend this read for middle schoolers with a passion for snowboarding.Something lacking from the snowboard community.

Really good read with some great illustrations and a concept that i havent really seen anywhere else. Well worth the price and suitable for all ages.
