I recently purchased the Jet-Inflate X8 Apex Air Pump, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best investments I’ve made in a long time. This device exceeded my expectations in every way, and I had a fantastic experience using it. First and foremost, the speed of this air pump is astonishing. It took just a little over a minute to inflate the tires of my car, which saved me so much time compared to other pumps I’ve used. The precision of 1 PSI is spot-on and gave me peace of mind knowing my tires were inflated accurately without any guesswork. The battery life is another highlight. With up to 40 minutes of continuous operation, I was able to inflate multiple tires and still had power left over. The fact that it doesn’t need a break to cool down is a game-changer—this device can handle up to 16 tires without pausing! It’s perfect for road trips or outdoor activities where reliability matters most. The one-click operation made the whole process effortless. The preset inflation modes are incredibly convenient, and I loved the “set-and-forget” feature. Once I set the desired pressure, the machine automatically stopped, so I didn’t need to stand over it constantly. What really impressed me was the flexibility of the design. I’ve been using this portable tire inflator for my Tesla, and it’s been fantastic. It’s compact enough to keep in the sub trunk without taking up space, and it inflates the tires quickly and accurately every time. Most importantly, it’s powerful enough to reach the high PSI level that EV tires require. The digital pressure gauge is super easy to read, and I love that it shuts off automatically once it reaches the set PSI, no guessing or over-inflating. Build quality is solid. Battery life has been good. I was able to inflate all four tires without a noticeable change to the battery level. It is noisy but most powered inflators are.

This inflator does what it promises, albeit slowly. On full size tires on my cars and trailer, just topping them up took a few minutes each. It does the job, but set it down and go have a cup of coffee until it finishes; fortunately the automatic shut-off works precisely and holds pressure without any backflow. The advertizing claims about how many tires it can do on a charge are a bit overstated. That all depends on how big the tires are and how under-inflated they are. When topping up tires on a pickup and SUV, the unit needed a re-charge after 3-4 tires. It is apparently quite waterproof: it was topping up a tire when an instant thunderstorm hit. It laid in the grass through the storm and overnight rain. I retrieved it, dried the outside and set it in a dry and drafty spot for a day. Turned it on and it worked fine. The design of the control isn't the best, it's a 5-way rocking button, and some of it's choices require a long touch. It takes a while to get comfortable with it. I'd suggest separating the functions to separate switches in future designs. And thinking of future designs, I'd suggest a "pickup & camper" model with a larger capacity battery. Despite my criticisms, the APEX Inflator is a solid unit that works as promised, I'm happy to have it.

When I saw ads for these small inflators on tv my reaction was no way, waste of money. After reading reviews for this brand and model on Amazon I gave it a shot. I was impressed with the packaging and build, nothing cheap about it at all. My car tires summer air was disappearing, so I needed to top off with some winter air. The inflator came about 75% charged and charged up quickly. I topped off all four tires around 4 to 5 psi for each, about 3 to 4 minutes per tire, leaving about 75% charge. The LED numbers were nice and bright and easy to read and it turned off when reaching the psi that I entered. I was overall very impressed with my first use and expect that it will do well with what I purchased it for; topping off my car's tires. Just don't expect it to blow up a couple of flat tires on one charge. I give it an easy five stars.
