Handheld RFID Writer 125KHz Proximity ID and AWID andHID Duplicator +5 White Cards + 5 Writable Key Fobs

This is for the "Handheld RFID Writer 125KHz Proximity ID and AWID and HID Duplicator." I was super skeptical about this, especially after reading some of the reviews, but I tried anyway. I needed it to clone an access control key fob so I could have a spare in my car. I made another for good measure too. It worked super quick and easy. That's kind of disturbing, but I'm glad it worked.

I absolutely loved this product! From the moment I started using it, I could tell it was high quality and thoughtfully made. It works exactly as described and even exceeded my expectations. The design is great, it’s easy to use, and it delivers fantastic results. I’m genuinely impressed and would definitely recommend it to anyone considering it.

Didn't work for what I needed

I was skeptical bc of the reviews and similar look to other writers that don’t do HID. But it actually worked!! At first it didn’t due to being able to only work if batteries have at least 2.3v. So if it doesn’t work the first time put some high quality fresh batteries and it will work like a charm!

So I was in the hospital for a few months and somehow my keys and fob for my complex were lost. I was able to make replacement keys for a reasonable amount but when it came to replecing my fob for my condo I shopped around and got estimates ranging from $50 for the fob alone plus programming fees of $30-40. Seriously? Talk about gouging people, Las Vegas merchants you should be ashamed. I got this kit and a supply of fobs and cards for a quarter of what you folks are charging. Folks save yourselves money this kit is ridiculously easy to use. Worth every penny!

I bought this to duplicate my ProxCard II as a backup. I didn’t expect much from the key ring fob, but both the card and the fob worked nicely. It did exactly what I needed, but there’s one thing to note. When attempting to read and write, it’s not always straightforward. You might need to change the spot or adjust the angle, but eventually, you will get it right. Be patient and wait for the two beeps to confirm the completion of the read and write process. Overall, I’m satisfied with this purchase.

Had no issues, make sure your card is compatible and the batteries in it are fresh.

Despite following all the instructions, this device utterly failed to read any of my tags. I tried several different positions and even switched out the batteries to no avail. The lack of feedback made it impossible to tell what was going on, and I was left guessing whether it was even working. It was incredibly frustrating to spend time fiddling with it only to get absolutely no results. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this product – it simply doesn’t work as advertised.

SCAM! DO NOT PURCHASE! Put in the batteries and it's just led lights going on or off. Nothing as advertised. Listen to the negative reviews as many other people have stated! And the refund value is $0.00 meaning you will get nothing back.

I'm giving this 5 stars so people know that it does work. Eventually. The fobs and cards that come with the reader ARE NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THE READER. They will not work. I have no idea what they were thinking shipping incompatible tags, but they did. This will cause you to think the reader/writer just doesn't work. It does. With the right tags. I used the reader with these tags: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0CN6KQSGX?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title and it worked perfectly. All 10 of the tags that I programmed work perfectly on my buildidng. Hope this helps someone.

It does not work - as simple as that. Hours of wasted time trying to make it work. DO NOT BUY, it does not read an actively used 125kHz chip. Additional, the reader was sent the wrong fobs with it that can as per their item description (with picture) not being used. This is my 3rd attempt to write a honest review to this cheap article, the 2 before were refused.

Crap product doesn't write to cards or even scan awid fobs like the description says seems like product is just lights with no functionality. They expect you to pay for return which will cost what the price was so not good service appears to be a scam. DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!!
