Cat away
I'm not gonna lie, I use this to keep the neighbor's cat from using my potted plants as her personal litter box. Works great and kitty just gets a quick spray when we catch her. YASSSS, problem solved! So glad I no longer have to contend with cat crap! You have a happy gardener here.

Good value
Haven’t tried a supersoaker for several years, and I was impressed by this. First, there is no trigger; just a pump that you pull back (to load water from the main chamber) and forth (to fire.) This pump part is green in the picture. Second, unlike old models you don’t have to seal off the main chamber (green cap on top) for it to fire, so you can fill it up as fast as you’d like. Third, a single loading of the main chamber gave me about 26 shots, which is great. Each shot easily could go 15 feet as a straight horizontal stream; obviously if I shoot in the air it went further, as far as 25 feet. Good to soak someone, but not strong enough to hurt. At its fastest, it takes about a second to load and about a second to fire, moving the pump back and forth, so about 2 seconds for each 1-second stream of water. The movement of the pump is smooth but feels solid, so there’s some sort of loading action going on with each backwards pump, a nice feel. The harder you pump on each downstroke, the faster / further the water shoots out, but there’s still an upper limit to how hard you can go. In short, this is well made, good fun, and worth the few dollars each cost. Oh, and if you hate buying your kids guns, the fact that it’s all pump and no trigger helps a little because it doesn’t exactly operate like a gun. Or am I pushing this too much?

Somewhat disapointed
I was somewhat disappointed because I thought the trigger on the squirt gun would work like the older super soakers. You used to be able to pump them up and build pressure and then pull the trigger when you want to squirt someone. These put out a stream of water with each pump, so they suck compared to the old school super soakers. I am not even sure if you can find the ones I am looking for anymore. It's probably another case of tort that has changed our lives. In other words, someone probably got hurt and they won't make them like that anymore.Other than the fact the trigger doesn't work, it works as good or better than any other model without a working trigger.

You Need This. You Want This. Get This.
I have two Jack Russell Terriers: a three year old male and an 8 month old female puppy. I’ve used a water pistol on Winston when he’s not minding since he was a wee little boy. Gets his attention and stops the behavior. The water pistol has zero effect on Maggie Moo. She’s immune. Got this water canon. Stops the behavior only because she thinks it’s a fun new game. I can saturate Miss Moo from across the room. She loves being soaked so much that I now use this as a bath toy too. She used to hate baths. Now she hops in the tub to be soaked by water canon. She also loves to run through the sprinkler. My puppy is weird. This super soaker is awesome.

Cool water gun
I’m bought 2 of these. One for me, and one for my grandson. He is 4 years old and was so excited when he realized that one was his. We will have great fun blasting each other with these this summer. Shoot a strong stream, and hold a good amount of water. Delivery was fast.

Squirrel ammo!
I bought this for my sister, who loves watching the birds at the feeders around her deck, and HATES the acrobatic squirrels stealing all of the birdfood and scaring the birds away. She loves this thing!!!

Throws a stream of water a long distance.
I use this to chase off the neighbor's cats when I find them in my yard lying in wait for the birds and squirrels. Don't get me wrong, I love cats. Mine lives inside and doesn't threaten the wildlife. This does the cats no harm, but sends them running home.

Bought as a birthday gift for 10 year old boy. He loves it and his dad dies too. Shoots far.
