Love this!
This is a fab little travel set! Love the cups and spoons. Took this on our ski trip to France and Italy and used it everywhere we stayed. The presentation is good, comes in a little travel bag, and the cups/spoons fit inside the kettle. Boils fast enough, good size, holds enough water for more than two cups. It's great value for money too.

Brilliant little kettle
Really impressed with this little kettle. Itโs compact but does exactly what you need, perfect for camper van life. I originally bought it as a backup in case the gas runs out, but Iโve ended up using it all the time when hooked up to campsite power.Boils quickly for its size, doesnโt take up much room, and the included cups and spoons are a nice touch. Ideal for a couple of brews without dragging out a full-size kettle. If youโre short on space or need something reliable for travel, this does the job spot on. Simple, practical, and worth having onboard.

Great little kettle.
This travel kettle is just what I wanted its small and light to pack in holdall or luggage it comes with instructions and 2 cups with 2 spoons which fits nicely in side of the kettle from full it takes 5 minutes to boil it has a nice pouring spout easy lift up lever which feels sturdy it has see through level fills each side a on and off switch which glows red when its boiled it automatically switches off it does get very got on the out side of the kettle and because it's so light it does slip around even when full but for the price it's an excellent travel kettle.

EXCELLENT LITTLE KETTLE
This kettle is just what I wanted. It takes up so little worktop space and holds just enough for one person. It not a fast boiler but quick enough. As I drink gallons of tea if the water's getting low I refill it immediately after making a cup and switch it back on. Because it's so small I was able to fit it in the other end of the kitchen, nowhere near the tap. As the cable does not detach I have a little Pyrex jug in front of the kettle, pour the requisite amount into the jug, then from jug to cup. A lot easier than keep unplugging it, and using the same jug to refill. But do remember this kettle is not cordless. I forgot once and tried to move it, tipping it over and flooding the worktop. The lid fits well, easy to open and you don't have to bang it shut. The water level is easy to see. Most kettles are far too big when you only fill them a little way, totally recommend this one for a single person.

Compact and efficient
Smashing little kettle. About half the size of the kettle you would have in your main kitchen. Very light but looks durable, as you would expect from Russell Hobbs. Takes just over three minutes to boil enough water for two cups of tea. The only downside being it is a single unit, and not detachable from the base, so you canโt wander off with it. Not a problem if youโre only making tea for two in a holiday lodge. Highly recommended.

Russell Hobbs Kettle ๐๐บ
Russell Hobbs Travel Kettle, this little kettle is great, small and compact, its just right for one person. It can boil enough water for two cups, and has two cups and two spoons included. Its a plug in kettle, and the cable is attached to the kettle, so you do have to unplug to fill it up, or use a little jug like i do, or the cups included. Very pleased with it, good price too. ๐

Fine, but care required when opening lid
I bought this travel kettle to take on holiday to France, used it to make hot drinks in the ferry cabin. It works well, not too noisy and acceptable time to boil a full kettle. My reason for 3 stars is as follows. Mainly because of the weak hinge on the lid. The lid is a very tight fit and as it is pulled up the hinge twists which I think could easily cause it to snap. As others have mentioned it does still have a strange aroma despite being boiled at least 10 times. I'm a bit concerned about a dark mark that's appeared on the inside bottom of the kettle, looks like the area where the element is. I hope it doesn't indicate a problem! I don't understand why it's supplied with two tiny, flimsy plastic cups and spoons, I am reluctant to poor boiling water into them and they are also too small provide a decent cuppa.

Good kettle, just be aware that the cord is not removeable.
I bought this kettle for my caravan and it is very good for that purpose. I find it boils quickly and fairly quietly and is the perfect size for me and the wife. The only drawback I find is that the cord cannot be removed from the kettle, which means filling via a jug (or cup I suppose). The listing says "Hinged lid for ease of filling" - but not so easy if you have to unplug it from the socket to take it to the tap. I'd have thought the Health & Safety police would have jumped on that design in this day and age (not saying they should, as I have common sense!). Also no photos showing the cord in the listing, so perhaps a bit deceptive. Nonetheless for me the kettle works well. The cord was just a bit of a surprise, but I can work around it.

Handy and useful travel jug.
This is a nice little jug. Testing it today it boiled one coffee mug of water (300mls) in 1:57 on my rig of 200AH LiFePo battery and 3000W inverter.I have an Australian wall plug to replace the UK wall plug, but find that the UK to Australian wall plug adapter is a good tight and snappy fit, so will leave it at that for now.The jug looks like a quality item, and a satisfactory acquisition.
