DANGEROUS. Like you, I wanted to like this product. It seemed like the perfect, non-permanent solution to keep the family out of the sun when out on the boat. We found that on the first time out, while anchored at the sandbar, the umbrella would unexpectedly fold at the hinge; even when "locked". This caused the umbrella to violently swing into those near it. This happened multiple times and we are extremely lucky my wife and infant daughter did not get injured while sitting under it. It was not an exceptionally windy day either. Not sure what I will get instead; but this has no place on my boat with my family aboard. Returned.

I think anybody would really like this umbrella. I have used this umbrella several times and everything appears to be well made and heavy duty . it also comes with a spiral stake that can be used at the beach. I'm am a really picky person when it comes to quality and workmanship . this umbrella is really good . they even included a sleeve to put the umbrella in when not in use .

I am pretty sure this was used. The box was beat to hell and the pole looks used. That being said, it has served it's purpose.

Shade is a commodity sorely needed when you are in your boat fishing. Once we are anchored up, i pull out the umbrella and place it in a rod holder and adjust it for my wife. Happy wife happy life!

Will definitely serve its purpose. The directions are not clear, but we figured it out. Seems very durable. Not flimsy.

got 2 of them to cover back of boat. easy to move to follow the sun.

The pole bent during the second use. It bent easily...not sturdy at all and now cant return??? Arrived May 4...
