I had to replace the original fuel pump on my 3.7LX MCM. I was having issues underload and at high speeds with hesitation. This pump solved all those problems!

Bought this for my 3.7 mercruiser engine and I have to say was very disappointed. Installation was easy. Took my boat out and the part failed us. The rubber part in the diaphragm was junk. Took my fuel pump off to be looked at by a mechanic and was told that it had probably sat on a shelf for awhile and that’s why the diaphragm was bad.

I looked everywhere for a pump and all were between $200 and $300 for a marine pump! I just kept searching out the local autoparts houses crossing numbers and found one for just under a $100! Put it on and it lasted exactly 15 minutes and blew apartinside!!! Returned the pump and looked on Amazon and found an exact replacement for about $80.00. Still running well andno problems so far. Did not fit my Mercruiser 120 4Cyl for my 1985 Regal medallion. Mixed reviews led me to believe it may just fit- Just verifying it does not fit. Return was fast and easy.
