About the Author Raised in the south, MariaLisa learned about the magic of books at an early age. Every summer, she would spend hours in the local library, devouring books of every genre. Self-described as a book-a-holic, she says “I’ve always loved to read, but then I discovered writing, and found I adored that, too. For reading … if nothing else is available, I’ve been known to read the back of the cereal box.” Oatmeal is her comfort food. She hates gardening but loves flowers; not cut arrangements, but in the wild, outside. She has a deep and abiding respect for our military. Her dad was career Air Force, and flew during the Cuban Missile Crisis, Korean Conflict and Vietnam War. Parades make her cry. Walking Dead is about the only TV she watches anymore, don’t bother her on Walking Dead night, when she’s been known to shout, “Go Team Darryl!” Yes, she’s still sad about Firefly. She’s a hockey fan, like … a serious hockey fan. She’s loyal to the Edmonton Oilers, but asks that we don’t judge her about that. She also likes the Nashville Predators and Ottawa Senators. The local ECHL team, the Fort Wayne Komets, are a fav of hers, and she has season tickets. She’ll also generally try to hit the road games within a hundred-mile radius. She’s a wanna-be hiker, working on a “bucket list” of hikes like Knobstone (completed in four days mid-April 2014 – whoooo!), sectioning parts of the AT (May 2014 was Georgia), and now and then looking west towards PCT. She embraces her inner geek; MariaLisa has been working in the tech field for a couple decades. A sometime PC gamer, she still plays EverQuest after all these years. She says, “What can I say, I’m loyal (see above, I’m an Oilers fan LOL). Yes, I’ve heard of WoW, and have a coupla toons there, too.” On music, she says, “I love music of nearly any genre — jazz, country, rock, alt rock, metal, classical, bluegrass, rap, hip hop … you name it, I listen to it. I can often be seen dancing through the house in the early mornings. But I really, REALLY love live music. My favorite thing with music is seeing bands in small, dive bars [read: small, intimate venues]. If said bar [venue] has a good selection of premium tequila, then that’s a plus!” Her short bio reads, “Plate-spinner / cat herder at work; totally geeked author; single mom in the thick of autism at home; hockey freak; wanna-be hiker; usta-be/on-again EQ gamer.”

My favourite MC read
I don’t know why I haven’t reviewed this book until now because this is an excellent read, I read this book in 2017 and still remember to much of it to do a reread, the character building in this book is just so very good, you feel like you seriously know these characters. I have read many MC series, it’s my favourite genre and I read on average 5 books a week, this book though is my favourite MC read, I can’t recommend not only this book, but the whole series enough, if your a fan of MC books and decide to read this series you absolutely will not regret it.

Onwards
Ever had a book you would willingly read on and on if the author made it unending? Well this is one of those books. Packed with laughs, sadness, joy and heart. Loved it and it's never ending adventure.

Slate Book 2
I was scared that I would not like Slate after first book. He was butt at times... But I love Him and Ruby as a couple. Slate has hard life and it shaped had m into the man he is. I was so sad to see him leave Chicago. But I must say I loved him as the Prez in chapter he's in. I'm slowly falling in love with all the guys. I'm little sad there was not more of him with his brother Benny. But I'm sure that will come later. Loved the storyline. Can't wait to read more of this story. I recommend this book and the author. I'm loving the writing style of the Author. Makes you feel as if you are right there watching on the sidelines. Great Job MariaLisa DeMora.

I love MariaLisa's writing style
I love MariaLisa's writing style. She gives in depth with the characters journey through life and how they become the person they are by the end of the story. and love how close the Rebel family is. I just cant believe all the people Slate/Andy met in his life and they are touched by his loyalty and respect. MariaLisa has me addicted the Rebel Wayfarers MC series..

Great book
I read the first book about Mica and so far it's the best one out the two. I enjoyed reading this book and it was great reading about Slate life story. I still say the author have a unique and wonderful writing style that makes the story interesting and exciting. I read about 15 to 20 books a week and so far this writer have a great insight regarding descriptive and summarizing the characters daily activity in her plot. I love reading the followup insert of Mica and Daniel and hope to continue reading about Mason. I'm have a question regarding Mason son (Chase), he disappeared after he was sent to Slate without another mention in the story. All in all it was a great book and I will be waiting for book three.

Not an edge of your seat page turner...
I'm just plain bored out of my mind with these books... I tried to continue with the next story but sadly it didn't get even a smidge more exciting. I could do without the drawn out back story... I get that it is building the character but it was like pulling teeth to get to the point.... and when it did finally get to the point it wasn't very exciting...these are not page turners for me at all. The only reason I finished was because I bought it...unfortunately I bought more of the series that I won't be reading.
