I recently started gaming on my laptop and noticed it was getting hot, so I decided to purchase this cooling stand to help. It work great! The computer is slightly warm to the touch but significantly cooler than before. The fan is a bit loud but you can turn down the fan speed if the noise is too much. It has foam seals to fit whatever size laptop you have, which keeps the air moving directly onto your laptop rather than seeping out. Overall, I’d recommend to anyone that needs a good cooling fan for their laptop.

This pushed the NVIDIA GForce GTX1050 to 100% and Intel i7 to 25% with internal fan cooling only. The GPU temp hit +72C, turn on this cooling fan at low settings for minimum noise and GPU temperature dropped to +68C. Turn fan to maximum and the GPU temperature drops from +72C to +54C. Big difference and no thermal throttling! The cooling pad can be very noisy with the fan running at full capacity, but with headphones on, no system lag, no thermal throttling (usually clocks turned down), the noise is tolerable. Noise canceling headphones are best. If you do not want to used head phones, then be aware that this unit can be very very noisy at max fan speed. Next, the USB expander on the right side is perfect (one to three ports). I can expand one of my USB-C ports to three USB 2.0 ports. This is available on the IETS GT500V1. I used the expander for headphones, camera, and wired mouse. This product is from China (we'll see if it lasts, but Chinese companies can produce and export good products ... if they want to, so far this product appears to be of very good quality and solidly built).

Works better than I expected. 2 weeks of use so far. No issues.Pros:- insane cooling. My laptop use to get burning hot under stress, making the keyboard unusable. Now, running at max RPM, it's often COOLER than my body temperature.- Great design. The foam keeps the laptop from sliding around and traps the cool air. Plastic is durable and stable with strong legs.CONS:-LOUD AF. this is probably best suited for home use. Similar to your PS4 struggling to run Crysis. But the cooling performance is worth the noise.-requires DC power to run. Probably cuz thing has a Boeing 747 jet engine.- not very portable. Won't fit into a small backpack or bag.If you are running into thermal throttling cuz your laptop is too hot then this will solve all your issues.

This fan is pretty nice. It absolutely crushes cooling. My 17inch gaming laptop use to crash during hardcore gaming sessions and now it doesn’t. I can feel the hot air being pushed out through all the vents. I check the temperature and the fan keeps it around 50-55 Celsius. Before it would be around 70-75 Celsius. A huge difference.There are a couple problems. The fan on high is loud. I wear headphones so it doesn’t bother me but just be aware of it. The button to power it on is also kind of cheap looking so I am worried about longevity there. Finally it looks kind of weird. The laptop sits on top of foam to get the seal. Because of this it works great but aesthetically it isn’t the most pleasing.Overall I just needed it to keep my laptop cool and if that’s all you need then look no further.

My gaming laptop was constantly overheating, and while my specs could handle the games, but it would get so hot it would make everything go slow. I had tried other smaller, cheaper fans, but nothing made a dent. Then I found this and gave it a shot. It works so well, I can now play any game with no issue. I do have to make sure it's set up properly, but when it is, this fan keeps it cool enough to not slow down the game at all. It was a miracle, and I bet it also helps make my laptop last longer by it not overheating. Would highly recommend

I have an older, but extremely powerful laptop. It has always run hot, but one of the intake fans has recently started malfunctioning leading to overheat shutdowns fairly regularly. I did the research and landed on this cooler. It seemed a bit pricey, but the life of my primary computer depended on it.This fan reduced my heavy-load temperatures up to a max of 50 degrees C. Let me say that again...50 DEGREES CELSIUS. I was expecting decent results, but holy crap. It averages around a 30-40 degree reduction under normal use, and frankly I'm shocked at how well it works.Some folks have complained about it being loud, but seeing as how I'm coming from an unbalanced internal fan that regularly makes terrible grinding-ish noises, the noise this fan puts out is neglibale in comparison.I should also point out that I've been running this fan at max power, so keep that in mind when you check your mileage. With these kinds of results though, I don't see any reason why I'll need to keep it on max for the long term. 50% should be just fine, honestly.So yes, I absolutely recommend this cooler, especially if you have an older machine that isn't great at keeping itself cool anymore. It's extended the life of my machine significantly, and it was worth every penny.

It definitely works. Brought down my temps by 5 -10c+ during heavy loads. Would recommend if using a gaming laptop (Asus Predator Helios 16). The fans definitely run at 5000rpm. The foam is super soft like memory foam to form to the bottom of the laptop. Easy set up and the 3 extra USB ports all work. I like that it was it's own power supply to put less strain on the laptop battery.

This is absolutely ideal if you have a massive powered gaming laptop that gets hot. This is just enough fan speed and the layout where the pc sits is air tight. Keeps the laptop nice and at temp for long gaming sessions. It is quite loud but I mean look at the type of fan you’re buying it’s to be expected. If your worried about sound get a headset as you should for gaming. This tho is what I recommend to every laptop gamer it is by far the best.
