Need a secure 4 bike carrier for 3 adult bikes and one child's and thought this was the answer. The parcel arrived having taken a good beating and upon inspection there were numerous scrapes to the plastics. I could live with that but the rack feels cheap because of some of the plastics used in key areas. After fitting there was a noticible vertical movement of a couple of inches which meant the bars of the bike nearest the rear window would impact this if going over a bump. No horizontal movement. The light board was also curved like a banana and feels like it wouldn't take much to cause damage. It's also funny how their videos show mountain bikes but they slip in a road bike in between as it shows better clearance. 4 mountain bikes will definitely rub against each other some you'll need to pack something in between. Returning this item but now sure whether to try another or go for something with better build quality. At this price I expected a hell of a lot more!
