Clear results - in line with digital machine
I ordered this for a family member that is a medical professional and asks for equipment like this when it appears on here. They have said that this is a good quality sphygmo-manometer that is easy to use. It comes in a neat little case to keep everything together but you will need your own stethoscope to listen to the brachial artery when taking blood pressure readings. The dial is nice and clear so it's very easy to read and provides accurate readings. The cuff is a standard size so it will fit most arms but may be a bit too tight on very large arms. It's lightweight and can be carried easily and everything seems to be well made. The readings are pretty accurate and inline with digital machines and as long as you understand how to take readings this will suit anyone in a medical profession.

Good quality, manual blood pressure cuff
Although there are various digital blood pressure-checking devices on the market, I’ve been wary of their accuracy, which from my experience, has shown the odd glitch in results. Hence I decided to go with the traditional manual cuff which gives out a far more accurate reading in my opinion.Conveniently, the cuff comes in its own soft cover, which is great to store away in when done using. Inside you have the velcro cuff, the analogue gauge, the air pump with the air release valve and of course a small instruction guide on the usage. It does work fairly well and the quality is decent. Unfortunately, you don’t get the stethoscope with this product which would have been incredible value, but on its own, it's not too bad of a product.

Take blood pressure readings with style!
Ah, the SCIAN Aneroid Sphygmomanometer - a tongue-twister of a name for a device that's straight out of a period drama! Picture yourself in the role of a seasoned medical professional, clad in your scrubs, ready to save lives, or at least take blood pressure readings with style. Now, let's talk turkey - for the price, this gadget is a steal. It's like having your own prop from "Call the Midwife" without the drama and tears (well, hopefully). But here's the catch: it's not exactly beginner-friendly. You'll need a stethoscope (Not Included), a steady hand, and maybe a bit of luck to get those accurate readings, especially if you're flying solo. However, if you're training the next generation of healthcare heroes or just want to play doctor at home (no judgment here), this kit is perfect. It's cheap as chips, made of sturdy stuff, and even comes with its own carry case for that added touch of professionalism. So, go ahead, channel your inner Nurse Jackie, and let the medical drama unfold!

Good but could be better!
It feels quite flimsy but does the job. Don't think it'll last very long! I would spend more and buy something sturdier.

Back to basics ..
Everybody uses electronic blood pressure machines however professionals still prefer this method as it is from their point of view more accurate, this is ok for its price the needle is a bit jumpy but for this price it's fine ot will do the job.

A nice little piece of kit that does just the job it is designed to do.
This SCIAN aneroid sphygmomanometer comes in a small zip-up bag to keep it in. Inside you find a cuff with a hand-pump bulb and valve along with an aneroid pressure gauge. The gauge runs from zero torr to 300 torr, allowing it to get a reading regardless of how hypertensive the reading. The tubes are all rubber and the valve is easy to operate. The outer surface of the pressure gauge makes it easy to hold and it also has a clip on the back if it so if you can't find some way of holding it along with everything else, you can clip it to the cuff or your sleeve and so on.In all, this is a nice little piece of kit that does just the job it is designed to do.

Useful if you want an alternative to a digital BP meter Works OK You may need a stethoscope
SCIAN Aneroid Sphygmomanometer - Manual Blood Pressure Cuff with D-Ring Universal Cuff 10-16"A manual blood pressure meter that comes complete with its own case. These days, taking a BP reading is usually made simpler by doing it with a digital BP meter, especially for somebody monitoring their own BP at home. However, even though digital BP meters are in common use in hospitals, surgeries etc. Taking BP manually is still common and sometimes the preferred way of doing it.A stethoscope is normally used to detect the change in pressure during the stages of the reading, and this probably makes it simpler No stethoscope is provided). . However, fingers can be used instead of a stethoscope. An experienced doctor friend tried out this manual BP cuff (using his fingers) and said that the cuff was good and worked OK.
