Loved it, great pics throughout the book like the Grantland books back in the day. Loved the metrics and breakdowns of players, eras and shots. Such a great book and always enjoy a Goldsbury book. The pics are entertaining cause they are like basketball comic art.

A must have for NBA fans!
I enjoyed Sprawlball when it came out and was excited to read Hoop Atlas and it definitely did not disappoint! I actually think that I enjoyed Hoop Atlas more! It has all of the same elements as Goldsberry's previous book, but this puts into context how the NBA modernized to what it is and did a good job of explaining the role of different players who paved the way for what we see today. I enjoyed the info about Iverson, Curry and his trainer and the impact that Manu had on the game changing as I hadn't read or heard about these insights. It is super interesting and the illustrations are visually stunning and I could not put this book down!! If you are a fan of the NBA, then this NEEDS to be in your library! Great, fun read!!

Het boek is beschadigd aangekomen. Ik wilde het terugsturen, maar dat zou me bijna het dubbele gekost hebben van wat ik oorspronkelijk betaald heb. Moeten betalen om een beschadigd artikel terug te sturen, is onaanvaardbaar. En een boek in deze toestand aankrijgen ook. De prijs was al hoog genoeg, dan is het minste dat je mag verwachten een perfecte staat van het boek.
