It didn’t click what ‘pocket’ meant so when i got it i was like “wow! that’s small” but its actually a great size, and i love i can put it in my bag and it doesn’t take much room. great references!

It came with a mark that bled through on the next page. But, overall, it's a good book. It's very simple, but not overly so, with explaining everything. From the anatomical names to each shape and whatnot. I could see the improvement within a couple of hours of studying with the book. I'm not sure how beginner friendly it is, but almost no anatomy book is very beginner friendly. Learning anatomy takes time and practice, like everything with art does. The more time you put in, the more it'll show in your art. Everyone started some, including your favorite artist. Don't be harsh on yourself and trust the process 👍

Great small reference for simplifying figure drawing anatomy. You won't learn detailed sepcifics, but you'll learn enough of the basics to jump off from. I've been figure drawing for decades but paused for a while for a necessary focus shift and this is a helpful a quick reminder of key anatomical features. I'd recommend this to beginners and experienced artists who just need some quick reference and reminders.

I'm somebody who has loved art since I was a little kid but after college I kind of fell out of art for a while. Work in life in general. Just tired me out. But honestly having this little pocket size portable anatomy sketchbook brought art back to me. I often use it during my hour lunch break at work. The anatomy is simple yet helps even with experience artist. It's a great price for what you get. I recommended highly

It’s a good book, covers all of the Basics. Bodily structures, facial features, Hands and feet included which is nice However there’s a lot of nipples included, that for me wouldn’t be appropriate to gift to a preteen. Decided to keep it for myself.

I purchased this book for a budding artist. She has been using it frequently. It has all the structures one would need to draw the human figure. It breaks down how to draw joints and muscles. the direction is easy to follow and interesting to look at. If you have a budding artist that is working on a portfolio, this instructional book is perfect.

This book isn’t really for complete beginners. You’ll need some prior knowledge of 3D space and how to draw a complete human figure. It’s more about enhancing your work and giving it that extra polish, kind of like decorating a boring room to make it more vibrant and personal. To me, this book feels like a secret sibling to Morpho: Simplified Forms. It’s almost as if the author broke down the Morpho book, turned it into personal notes, and then arranged them into this guide. I can’t say for sure if that’s true, but that’s definitely the vibe I get!
