Purchased this to make fun new years drinks. Very cool effect but you only need a tiny bit. I used a lot and could definitely have got away with using a lot less. Nice gold shimmery look.

I love this edible glitter and it was exactly what I was looking for to dress up my cakes. The glitter has great, deep color, no taste, is high quality and is most importantly fun! The bottle is small, but a little goes a long way.

Just get it, and add some sparkle to your drinks and to your life. It’s fun, and does what it’s supposed to do.

This tiny bottle of edible glitter powder comes in a bottle with a little shaker top with a secure top to keep it from spilling as it moves around. The bottle is very tiny and the directions on the box say to use a teaspoon per a DRINK!!! While it doesn't seem to have a flavor, I can't imagine dumping a full teaspoon in a single drink. I just added a few sprinkles and it added a dramatic effect. You have to be careful since this does get messy fast since the powder is so fine - if you try to sprinkle from up high, you'll get it all over the counter, your hands, your clothes, etc. Works in things like drinks or on top of desserts.

Appearance: This edible glitter is quite pretty, bright and shiny. It is extremely fine, really more like a power, and yet you can see the individual grains when you put this glitter into a drink. Taste: There is absolutely no taste to this glitter. I tried it on a variety of things, including a plain cookie and sparkling water, and it added no hint of a taste. Size: The size of this bottle is absolutely tiny, like maybe 1/3 the size of a travel-sized toothpaste tube. I included one picture with a regular-sized coaster, so you can get an idea of how small it is. Because you use so little glitter at a time, though, this one bottle would probably be enough to decorate all the drinks at a fairly large party. It wouldn’t go as far when making treats, though, because so much gets spilled while sprinkling. Usability: Despite the tiny size, it doesn’t take much to make your food glittery and beautiful. I used two shakes in my glass of sparkling water, and it made the entire glass swirl with fine, enchanting glitter. It wasn’t as visible in sparkling water as in still water, but you could see if it you were looking, or if you held it up to the light. If you are using this in drinks, be aware that the glitter tends to settle to the bottom of the glass, unless you are stirring it often. So, if you added it to a large punch bowl, the people at the end would get a ton of glitter. Plus, the glitter effect is hard to see after a few minutes because the glitter has settled to the bottom. On treats and desserts, one or two shakes was typically sufficient to add a pop of color. This showed up very well on different color foods. I tried it on sugar cookies, chocolate, and ice cream. In each case, the glitter was bright, sparkling, and visible. It really added a beautiful note of decoration to the treats. Disadvantages: This glitter gets everywhere! It will stick to your hands, get all over the plate or container, get on your clothes, and everywhere else it touches. It is also not the easiest to get off. I washed my hands 3 times after using this, and most of the glitter is gone, but there is still a little bit of glittery shine on my palm. A lot of glitter can also get wasted as it falls onto the plate or tray you are using to decorate with. You can’t really pick up the spilled glitter and re-dust it over things, because it is so fine. If you try, it will just stick to your hands. Overall: This is fun and pretty, and not a huge investment for making your party more fun. That being said, it would work best for decorating treats, rather than drinks. If decorating drinks, they should be made to order or these should be used for a small, intimate gathering. If you were making a bunch of drinks at once, say, for a wedding toast, the glitter would have all settled to the bottom by the time everyone got their drinks, and no one would notice it was there.
