Amazing Build Quality!
It does its job. Immediately, I had a much better extraction with the bottomless portafilter. Mine kept extremely well packaged too. Its built amazingly well. My only complaint is i wish the lid was magnetic so it could close more securely when i shake. Its worth the money! I got this on sale but i would pay the 30 bucks.

Awesome but a little finesse required...
I love this shaker but you really need to use a portafilter funnel. It fits a 51mm to 54mm portafilter but it's not easy to use in that configuration because the portafilter will be overfilled (depending on the amount of coffee you use, of course). I use 16 - 18 grams of beans and in a 51mm portafilter, the grounds are so fluffy the portafilter is overfilled and when you remove the shaker, the grounds go everywhere! Just place your portafilter funnel as you normally would and then empty the shaker over the funnel. It's amazing how fluffy and clump free the coffee grounds are. I then WDT just to evenly distribute the top, then (very important) a couple of light taps of the portafilter on your tamping mat, then remove the funnel and give it a good tamp and I have my "elixir fix" in no time. One thing...you'll produce a little static during your shake. If you remove the lid, you'll see quite a lot stuck to the inside of it. Before you open it, hold the sides of the shaker and keep your finger on the lid, then smack the shaker lightly (down) onto your knockbox or tamping mat or whatever. This will dislodge the grounds from the inside bottom of the lid (most of them) and you're all set to empty the contents into your portafilter. Nice invention and according to science, you'll get better extraction than just using WDT...or any other distribution device.

Shaken, not stirred
Completely eliminates the need to wet your coffee, which totally changes up the game, but it does take longer (albeit a negligible amount) compared to just stirring with the wdt. However, I’ve never had a bad shot with squirting with the shaker vs using wdt. I’ve had it for quite a while and the finish did come off a little, but still does the job and I have no intention of throwing it away yet. One thing I will have to say is the leftover coffee dust that sticks onto the shaker does trail no matter how hard I shake it off. With this mind I have to remember to brush it off after each use, which makes me wonder if I should just wdt instead. Either way, it’s a great tool and is an amazing alternative to stirring your grounds with wires.

Perfect Fit for 51–54mm Portafilters and Keeps My Counter Clean
The MHW-3BOMBER 51–54mm espresso coffee powder accessory is a solid upgrade for my espresso routine. It fits securely on my portafilter and helps keep grounds contained while dosing and distributing, which means way less mess on the counter. The build quality feels premium and sturdy, and it sits flat without wobbling. It makes prep faster and more consistent, especially when using a WDT tool or leveling grounds before tamping. If you use a 51mm or 54mm setup and want cleaner workflow with better control, this is a great buy and absolutely worth it.

W0W! Hugely IMPROVED PUCK!
W0W! I immediately notice a HUGELY IMPROVED PUCK RESISTANCE PRESSURE.!!!. 👍👍 I don’t know how this is possible?, but am measuring much better pucks!, & puck-resistance pressure! However, negative: there’s Room for improvement! I hope that future versions will have a magnet in the base to HULD the coned-bottom magnetically ATTACHING it to the base as it is so easy to bump the center piece when filling with / from my manual-grinder, LOSING the contents out the bottom! Having magnets HOLD the center to the bottom, would KEEP IT ATTACHED!, plus would help hold it to your porta--filter basket!, when using.

It’s works and makes the process easier than WDT
It works as promised! I do get some grounds sticking to the insides that do not shake out. I do not currently use RDT on my beans, so that could fix this, but I don’t like the idea of moisture in my grinders. Overall it’s not a big deal and it’s not a huge amount of grounds. Espresso from my Flair 58+ is still top tier. Currently using a Izpresso JX Pro grinder

Product only really useful with more tools, little messy
Overall, the design and manufacture is mostly good. Parts fit together properly. In actual use, there is a lip that fits inside the portafilter basket which leaves a significant trough around the perimeter of the basket. This then requires other tools to evenly distribute the ground espresso which frankly defeats its usefulness. Comparatively, dosing funnels don't have this lip which allows for more even distribution of the grind. I also found that my the grind stuck to all parts on the shaking chamber which left a good amount of mess to clean up after use, more so than the mess that is usually made by simply grinding directly into the portafilter. To me, a 3-star review would mean it meets all design criteria and fulfills the most basic function of its purpose. Higher ratings would indicate that the product exceeds expectations and delivers beyond advertised function. While this blind shaker does function as intended by breaking up any clumps in the ground coffee, I find it lackluster in all other aspects of its usefulness. Thus 2-Stars.

Coffee grounds Sticks to the metal bell and lid
The coffee grinds stick to the metal after shaking it, hence it does not come out as an even distribution. Also still has clumps after shaking and also sticks to bottom of the lid and The slopes of the bell It does help reduce coffee grinds spilling over the ground but does not Achieve the Desired distribution outcome, dont know why? this may be due to the paint/coating not sure, but I just can’t get it to distribute evenly, Maybe it’s because it’s a cheaper brand… I guess it’s the old saying “ Pay cheap, pay twice” And now I’m gonna need to buy another better quality one
