Bandai Hobby High Grade 1/144 Rising Freedom Gundam Model Kit

This is the second one of these kits I’ve built and they’re very good. Not too hard to build although some bits are a little fiddly especially some of the smaller stickers. Great quality kit and the finished model looks amazing. Easy to follow instructions.

This was my first gunpla kit I got. I actually first saw this in a random game shop, before going home and buying it. The overall process was satisfying, as i enjoyed watching the build come together bit by bit. It's quite detailed, especially the head, so it's pretty good for the price. At first I thought the size was a bit small after building the main figure, but after attatching the wings, it looks so much cooler and larger. One thing to look out for are the small stickers. Some of them I swear are about the same size as a sand grain, and it took me 45 minutes to put on three stickers. Three! You will need to get some specialist equipment to build it, like nippers, files and tweezers too. Its fairly stable, but you may need to buy a stand to pose it effectively without it falling over. Articulation is pretty good too. I would definitely reccommend.

Very nice to build, I was impressed with how well the stickers lined up, not too say they were easy to put on, think that's the hardest part of building it tbo. Very happy with the end result though. I was going to use the paint markers on all of it but found the inks hard to use on the larger parts. I did use it on the little red parts. Definitely need to do panel lining on these. Would happily recommend

The assembly of the model kit was fun. Everything assembled without needing any glue. All the stickers are still on the model, which is important as I've had models in the past just have stickers fall off out of no where. The model itself is great. Love the posabilty. The railgun/wing backpack makes it a bit back heavy, but I have it standing without the use of a stand. Do plan on getting one of the action base stands that has the effect/weapon arm so that I can pose it with the shield in boomerang mode. Highly recommend this model kit.

Pretty sweet kit, very backheavy however and takes a little to keep it standing.

This kit was a pleasure to build. Color separation was great and articulation is fantastic. This modern day HG is solid and looks great even as a straight build. Very friendly for casual hobbist
