AWESOME EDC!
This folder has so many attributes that it's hard to know where to begin describing them. First, I love the weight and overall size. It has mass and substance, but is light and very comfortable to carry. The handle is a dream. Its structure/texture gives one a very solid and secure grip without being aggressive. It feels very good in hand. The blade opens with a level of smoothness that one must feel in order to fully appreciate, and it locks securely into place with no play. It feels like greased glass with the speed of a lightning bolt. The CPM MagnaCut steel is equally impressive. It is definitely a high performance metal, offering outstanding corrosion resistance, edge retention, and strength. The blade is absolutely razor sharp and will cut you if you stare at it too long. Well, almost. The first thing I look at in a folding knife is its locking mechanism. The last thing you want is for the blade to close when you don't want it to, and I have seen it happen. The results of that can be ugly. Spyderco's compression lock system seems to be very secure and strong. I feel as though it's strong enough that one does not have to be concerned about this aspect. While I also feel that Cold Steel's Tri-Ad locking system is the very best and strongest in the industry, the Compression system is superb. When it comes to closing the blade, I have read comments from folks who feel that it's not the easiest system to use. If one is right handed, I think it's an incredibly safe, simple, and fast process, and it can be done using only one hand if you choose. As with any folding knife, just be sure that your fingers are not in the blade's path as it closes. If they are, you likely won't make that same mistake twice. If you are left handed, however, you will need to use two hands to close the blade. Either way, it's no big deal. It's simple and quite safe. By the way, when closed the blade is perfectly centered between the scales. I love everything about this Spyderco, and the lifetime warranty and sharpening service adds a sweet layer of icing to a delectable cake. Cost wise, I have seen prices for this model run in the $200-239 range. Now, one does not have to spend anywhere near this much in order to obtain a high quality folder. On the other hand, if you are looking for a premium grade knife that gives you that warm glow inside, this is the knife. To me, value is the sum of an item's quality, practicality, and price. Using this formula, It is my opinion that the Spyderco Paramilitary2 CPM MagnaCut is indeed well worth the money. Stay safe out there, and God Bless!

One of the best edc knives ever made. With a few tiny flaws.
A legend for edc now with magnacut and everything dlc coated for extreme corrosion resistance. This may be the best version of this knife. This knife is heavy duty built, has tight tolerances, smooth action and comfortable, hand molding ergonomics. Its only flaws imo are its a bit on the heavier side for edc but not horrible, the lock while super strong, sometimes pinches the finger when deploying, is not the easiest to unlock one handed. So its not perfect but its very close. Easily one of the best work knives for a harsh environment being the salt version and having everything coated for corrosion protection. The handle also has very good grip to keep it from slipping out of the hand. The knife comes razor sharp and holds a edge a long while.

Everything I love about the Para 3, just bigger
I haven’t had the Para Military 2 Magnacut for very long, but based on my experience with the Para 3 Salt, it’s already one of my favorite knives. To me, it takes everything I love about the Para 3 and turns it up a notch. The Magnacut steel is the icing on the cake, giving you outstanding edge retention and corrosion resistance. The action is even smoother, the G10 scales make it feel incredibly solid, and the larger size gives it a lot more confidence in the hand without feeling bulky. It’s big enough to feel like a serious working knife while still carrying comfortably. Spyderco also has a cool factor that’s hard to explain. Their knives have a unique character that keeps me coming back, and the PM2 is a perfect example of why it’s such an iconic design. If you’re trying to decide between the Para 3 and the Para Military 2, you really can’t go wrong with either. For me, the PM2 feels like the more refined, full-size version, and with the Magnacut upgrade, I think it’s one of the best premium EDC knives Spyderco makes.

Great knife 🔪
I l9ve this knife. Im a spyderco freak. Weight is great to me . Only my opinion but a super light knife feels cheap no matter what material makes it. Spyderco is always a value at a good price this is a great price. Smooth and awesome operated performance. Buy 1 you will love. The magnacut is so nice and sharp.

Magnacut PM2, Nearly Perfect
This PM2 has quickly made its way to being one of my favorite knives to carry. Especially in this magnacut blade and special salt handle. Magnacut is considered one of the best all rounder EDC steels and it shows. The blade shape of the PM2 is utilitarian with a very pokey point and a good belly. The finger choil makes it easy to choke up for precise cuts. The PM2 weighs 3.60 oz, which most people consider an ideal weight (between 3-4 ounces). The compression lock not only is a very strong lock but also makes the PM2 very easy to manipulate. The salt scales are more grippy than standard g10 scales, this was done intentionally for the salt models to be support your hands when wet. Some people mention they are too abrasive but I find the scales very helpful. A couple things to note; Spydercos can have lock stick out of the box (DLC Coated blades especially) its not and it will go away with time. The pocket clips Spyderco use on there Military models and many others are pretty outdated. It is not deep carry and the PM2 comes factory tip down carry. I think the clip it self is very sturdy but the features of the clip are outdated for 2026. I changed mine out for a flytanium one that I could cant straight up and down. I do this because I carry my knife in my back pocket and makes it less likely to twist and turn or come out. I would recommend this knife to anyone looking for a spyderco model or just a edc blade. Trash company. Defective products.
I'll never buy from robco again. 2 knives. 2 pieces of crap. Inspected before you ship it? Yea right. So yall didn't notice absurd lock-rock? Yall didn't notice a knife that's unable to be operated as intended? This company seems to only carry defective garbage and sell it for full price. 1 was salvageable, this pm2 is doa. What a joke of a company.

Perfect EDC for Working, this is it. Black MagnaCut blade, black M10, Tanto Edge. Chef’s Kiss!
Hands down the greatest EDC Spyderco builds I got mine and it blew me away. MagnaCut Salt and the G10 is insanely grippy Phenomenal action, same Spydie deployment and gorgeous Para 2. I own a few Para 2s - satin and smooth, serrated and drop point but this Tanto in M/C black on black is a stunner. Price on Amazon was a good 50-75 off the big retailers and other than their limited or one off pieces, this, IMO - is the greatest EDC on the market. For larger framed or pants wearing folks. It’s not a small blade especially cutting edge with the Tanto in comparison with the Para Military 3 - it’s significantly larger. But I’ve found the longer that edge, the more it’s going to cut and longer it’ll hold edge. If I could, it would be a 7 out of 5. Along with my Citizen - my two favorite Spydercos. I’ve owned a couple dozen - still have most.

Get Salty
Have 5 or six other Spyderco knives but this my first pm2. Initially ordered a pm2 in cpm s45vn but it arrived with a chip in the blade and dlc came off just with rubbing it so it is on it’s on the way back! Saw this version of the pm2 Salt and decided to give it a try. Arrived quickly as usual and nicely ptotected by styrofoam. Nothing fancy in Spyderco packaging….. knife in plastic rapper, instruction/care manual, and small spyderco sticker. The knife itself is a real looker with the black textured handle scales and classic spydie shaped 3.4 inch blade in black magnacut. The handle is quite comfortable and feels good in all grips and the texture makes it very grippy and feels very secure in hand and not likely to slip even in wet conditions. No sharp edges except the blade. Of course it came literally hair shaving sharp ( yes, I tried ). The blade action is good right out of the box but I expect it to improve even more with use and a few drops of pivot lube. Blade is perfectly centered and the compression lock is rock solid. Absolutely no blade play in any direction. The four position pocket clip allows for various carry options. I changed the clip to a deep carry one and it just about disappears in the pocket. Along with its light weight you will hardly know it’s there This is going right to an edc and I expect it will be in my rotation for years to come.

A afiação chega a assustar.
