Great product and it is airtight, nothing spills or leaks. Gotman's Tritan are the best food storage containers I have ever used. They are expensive but worth the price. They work great to prevent food odors. They are easy to clean, and I opt to hand wash them to prevent damaging the seal in the lid. Because they are truly airtight, you can easily see what is stored in them, and this holds true for items put in the Freezer. I have almost every size Tritan offers and even my husband notices hold well they work and keep the food items fresh longer than most containers. In the past I swore by glass sealed containers for air tightness, not anymore, Gotman Tritan containers are just as airtight and weigh a lot less.

The item was simply wrapped in plastic. There was no additional shipping protection. As long as amazon reboxes it properly it should be fine however. Material Quality: The material is some form of plastic. The listing calls it BPA-free 100% Tritan. I have absolutely no way of confirming this, though I have no reason to doubt it either. Assembly/Build Quality: The container is put together well; however, the clips that secure the top to the main body are super loose. They clip tightly but when not clipped will rotate super freely. I don’t know why but I am not a fan of this. I prefer a little friction so they are not so swingy. Also, the entire container just… seems fragile when compared to other containers I have or have had. The listing says it resists shattering even from falls, but I have my doubts. It feels like I could squeeze it in my hand and crack it easily. The listing also says they have a temperature range if -30 to 110 but give no unit of measurement. I will assume this is in degrees Celsius as it says it can handle boiling water and water boils at 212F or 100C. Marketing Material: The images posted with this listing (at the time of this review) represent the product well. There is no misrepresenting here and everything is as it looks in the picture. There is a video where they fill it with water and turn it upside down to show it is air tight. I also tried this and while there was no leaks, keep in mind this does not prove air tightness. It only proves that it doesn’t leak water. This is a clever marketing trick. Having said that, I do not have a reason to doubt that the container is air tight at this time. Functionality: The container stores contents. It has a latching lid that latches tightly enough to keep it from leaking water in my test. I do not have a way to confirm its air tightness, at least not in a reasonable amount of time, so we will have to trust the manufacturer/seller for now. The item seems easy enough to wash as well. Price: This item is listed (at the time of this review) for $27.99. I think this price is a bit excessive given the small size of this particular container. Also as it is not made of glass, but instead cheap and abundant plastic I feel the price is more than its worth. Likes: I like the shape as it makes filling it easy, also the locking lid is nice. Dislikes: I just can’t shake the feeling of how fragile this thing might really be. I hope I am wrong, but when the time comes that it eventually falls on to the floor we will see. Overall: I would recommend this item if you are looking for a convenient storage solution for your food items. As far as I can tell it locks securely and holds fluids just fine. I do feel the price is higher than it should be so maybe try to catch it if it goes on sale. I feel like if you handle it with care it should last for a while.

Smaller than I was thinking, although the measurements are perfect. This is a unit for small cheese blocks to age in without wax. Perfect!

It's not easy to find good locking containers, most of the time I have trouble with the latches being to fiddly, or the top doesn't fit quite right, or the whole thing is just flimsy. Not these ones! This container is very sturdy and the latches actually work really well. I have other locking containers that I like well enough but the latches on those are mostly just plastic that bends over when you close them. This one however actually has hinges on the latches and it makes a much better container overall in my opinion. The lid seals tightly, it fits properly, but the latches still come on and off easily enough. Some of my other lids can be a pain to unlock sometimes. I definitely plan on getting more of this brand!

Not at all what was expected, the plastic is decent quality and the lid's latches work well enough but this is certainly not worth what is being asked here. Could see this being useful for lunches if you have kids, but there are much better options out there.

Forget the soft plastic that stains, or those where the lid can pop or you can't tell if it is closed. These will stand the test of time. BPA-free, strong seal, leakproof, roomy, good for serving as well. Just remove the lid and you have dip for the party looking good. Surround with chips. Dishwasher safe, airtight, exactly what I wanted!
