Rear Leg (Short) Hock Ankle Support

These braces worked really well for my dog. The material feels soft but supportive, and they stay in place without slipping. I noticed that my dog was more comfortable walking with them, and they provide nice stability for the back legs. The adjustable straps make it easy to get a secure fit, and the reflective detail is a nice bonus for safety. Overall, the quality is very good, and they do exactly what they are supposed to do. I’m very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it to other pet owners!

For my 17 year old terrier who was having trouble walking because of hip and spine issues, these have made a huge difference. They just wrap around the hock but having these on has let her walk again although slowly ;) Before her feet would slowly slide off to the side (think Bambi) or toward her front legs as her leg muscles were so weak. These help hold her upright and while she walks a little stiffly she now cruises around the house on her own. The best part is that after a month of wearing these a couple of times a day and being up and walking more frequently I think she is rebuilding her leg muscles! Even without the braces now she is up and walking freely in the house and yard. We do put them on her a few times a day to increase the support which gives her the confidence to walk. Win-win. ***** The one thing you HAVE to be careful of is that since they have to be snug to provide needed support, they can begin to rub the thin skin on the leg and could cause bad sores. As soon as we started to see the pink skin and there was no fur on the leg in that area, we began applying coconut oil several times a day and at bedtime. We also have decided to use a soft piece of cotton fabric (think old tee shirt) under the brace so that it reduces the abrasion of the brace sitting directly on the skin. Definitely worth the money but check the size carefully. We ordered XS and S since our dog was in between sizes. The XS is tight but the correct size I guess. The S was approximately 3 times bigger than the XS so the increments between sizes does not seem to make sense. Use the sizing chart for sure!!! Luckily with Amazon you can return the other pair if you purchase 2 to get the right size :) Customer service from Neoally was quick and helpful.

Our 12 year old chocolate lab has developed arthritis which is also now affecting his hind quarters after being mostly confined to his front legs. The product is simply made but definitely provides stability to his hind legs and helps him in getting up. Good fit with the XL size and easy to get on and off. Appreciative of this product because it provides some help. He's also on and anti-inflammatory and pain meds. As most labs, he's still a happy boy, but our walking times are very limited. We are also waiting for organic CBD oil to be delivered as recommended by our vet. Hoping that between this reviewed product and the CBD oil that our dog will have a good quality of life for a good while yet. Otherwise in good shape. Finally, the product is well-made. It's not supposed to be hard and stiff because it needs to conform to the shape of the leg. Even though it looks simple, it delivers a benefit for our dog.

Maybe they were too short or didn't really have those support frames like the ones for humans do. It seems that my dog Blanket had a more difficult time walking or maybe she was afraid of tripping. I wouldn't put them that tight sometimes because I was afraid of cutting her circulation to thr legs. I really tried to make them work. She was my remaining fur baby. OReo, her partner had passed a few days ago. We tried going for very light light walks but she would still trip and fall. Like that braces were stabilizing her legs. I tried a size up and nothing. I played with how tight they needed to be and no results. I gave her legs massages before putting on the braces and nothing. She ended up passing a june 1st exactly two weeks aftee her partner. I wish these braces would have worked so she would have at least walked better the last few days she had. I was kinda disappointed with the results. I was gonna return them but the return window passed and then I thought that those braces were probably one of the things she last wore or touched. I have mixed thoughts. On one size I have spent 1500 dollars at three different vets clinics and hospitals trying to improve both my pets health and I'll be real, I need the money, even minimal but I the same time I wanna keep those braces and put them in a nice box with her leash, water and food bowls, her toys and little outfits and a portrait of her and Oreo as well. I do tend to get attached to material things after they're going. I know I lost the chance of returning it as it did not improve Blanket's health but I'll just keep them because they were the last thing she wore on thar sad day.. Sorry,, Diego R.I.P. I NEVER leave a review unless I 100% trust the product. My senior 13-year-old rat terrier had IVS and wasn’t the same after that. Her legs couldn’t hold her. I got her this, and she’s a new dog -more like her old younger self, jumping and walking like normal. She was also able to get used to it within minutes. Great quality, fit was perfect for a 10lbs dog (I got the small), easy to take off and put on, no metal wires or anything that could hurt the dog, they open and are 100% flat, easy to take anywhere, and tbh I haven’t felt okay with leaving my baby alone bc she’s been hurting herself and after this I KNOW she’s safe. I 100% recommend this product.

For me this worked great!! My 15 year old dog is much more lively and very much improved mobility.

item worked (meaning my pup walked without pain) for a few weeks until he started pocking at his read legs. I carefully look at each leg to see red sores and immediately removed the items. The iron stays ( supports inside the material) came right through the material and was stabbing my poor dogs legs each time he put weight on his legs. I would not recommend this item

Conner, my 12 year old 107 lb. Chocolate Lab, has had a GREAT life thus far... When he could no longer jump, run, go up & down stairs ... due to weakening Hip Joints & hind legs, arthritis, etc.... there was a much lesser sense of his natural ‘puppy’ nature. Plus, even though he has always been a ‘larger’ lab @ 87 lbs, his inability to move like he used to, he quickly put on the pounds to a woping 107 lbs!!! I purchased the NeoAlly Dog Hind Leg Braces & with the very 1st use, Conner perked right back up!!!... Wiggling is butt, rapidly wagging his tail in circles, and bouncing up & down wit his front legs... he was just SOOOO HAPPY.. Conner does walk with the BRACES like he’s a ‘drunk old man in a cartoon’ (lol) BUT none the less he is moving MUCH BETTER. We previously had to LIFT Conner up & down our aproxiatimatly 11in high front stoop. NOW, with the BRACES, he gets up & down on his own, landing with both hind legs on the way down & easily lifting himself up on the way up.. never failing to acting like a happy camper that he did it all by himself. He now takes me on walks around the yard & happily lets me know when he would like to go in or lounge in the front yard watching for neighborhood walkers. As expected, with the atrophy in his hind left leg & a less defined leg joint, the brace does slip down quite often. However, Conner actually comes to me every time when the BRACE has fell down. He stands still by himself until i have made the appropriate adjustments & when it seems to ‘feel right’, he walks away in a merry little way. Lastly, if that hasn’t convinced you just how much I think these BRACES are awesome... the other day when laying out in the yard, a couple walked by. BEFORE the braces, he really didnt pay too much attention to his surroundings, let alone that same couple walking on by. It really seemed as though he wanted to get in & out as Quickly as he could so he could get back in & plop himself down to rest his lags. HOWEVER, when the couple walked by a few days ago, he got SO EXCITED, he actually started to TROT..a bit for a moment!! Even though he couldn’t sustain the TROT, his EXCITEMENT for the couple still remained high with PUPPY LIKE movements he had STOPPED all together pryer to the BRACES.. For me.. thats what makes it ALL WORTH IT... he’s old, his body is worn down, & things are just harder for him all around... BUT the BRACES goes him a sense of his youth with the way they help him move, supporting his body in the place he needs it & helps him maneuver, even getting a little ‘fancy’ sometimes doing things he hadn’t attempted in quite awhile. Smiles

It took Rex a few minutes to get use to the Hock braces, then we went on a 30 minutes walk with no worries.

While others gave this a bad review, I am pleasantly pleased with it. This helped my senior dog with a hind leg limp. She was able to walk and run again after a few weeks of rest. The price was worth it even for such a small item. It does snag a bit on her long fur but we had a little trim so it worked out perfect. Also don’t let your dog wear it for more than 4-6 hours and at night.

If I had a better video of our dog when she first had these on I would send it to the manufacturers. She went absolutely bananas in them, from a dog struggling to get up and then comfortably move around with achilles tendon problems , she was like a puppy again. Whoever said dogs don't smile should have seen her that day. Grin from ear to ear. Thank you
