MANSCAPED® The Lawn Mower® 4.0 PRO - Groin & Body Hair Trimmer

This is one of the best investments I’ve done in a while. I’ve used a Walmart trimmer that I bought for $40 for the last year and a half, and it gave out on me. Here I am in Mar/22/2022, and I bought this and I can say I don’t regret it one bit. Costed quite a bit more compared to the $40, but it didn’t disappoint. If I had to compare to my old one, this is an upgrade for sure. Great product in my opinion. Here are some pro’s and con’s, but the con’s aren’t even that bad. Pro’s: Easy to use Clean cuts Safe protection on sensitive areas Long battery life with cordless charging dock LED lights to help hard to see places Cons: Not much trimmers to work with Takes a while to clean out hair, little brushes doesn’t do much NOTE: This is from my own personal experience, but I see a lot of reviews saying, “This doesn’t protect my genitals” or “This product is a lie! It nicks me every time!”. While I cannot speak for them, I will say that if you use it improperly, yes it will, but while I was being safe and careful, I started to have more confidence after how many times I thought I would nick it, just like I would with my old razor. Finished in half the time I would with my old one. This product DOES protect the sensitive areas, but if used improperly, then of course it’s gonna happen. I say look up your own info on how to protect yourself, but I can confidently say that this product lives up to its name. Definitely worth it. Hope this helps anybody for an honest review!

Mid use, my trimmer shut off suddenly and wouldn't turn back on. I thought the battery died so I tried to charge it and it still wouldn't turn on. This one lasted me two years. Not bad but I would like something better so I started researching what replacement to buy. Finally picked one and when it arrived I found that the blade was too wide to work well for me. So I looked up this one to see how wide the blade was. Then I noticed the "travel lock" feature. Tap the power button three times and locks. Could it be? Yep. I'm an idiot. Don't know how I engaged the travel lock, but I did. Tapped the button three more times and now I don't need a replacement. T.L.D.R. good product as long as you're not an idiot like me.

Written by my Husband: I am pretty disappointed in this product. I didn’t really enjoy the shaving experience I had with this product and opted to use my old razor instead of it. I’ve had this product for about a year and only used it 3 times. The razor would snag and pull hairs on me very often instead of cut them, it cut me quite a few times, and it would take several passes to do what my old raider would do. Now after only 3 uses in about a years time it is dead and will not hold a charge longer than 1-2 minutes. It seems this product cannot do anything it is advertised to do. As for customer service, I contacted them via the manscaped website and stated the problem and asked if there was a fix for it. The response I got completely ignored my question and just asked for proof of purchase and after I responded with that, they again ignored my question about if there was a fix I could try and just told me they couldn’t refund a purchase over a year old and offered a 15% discount on a new razor. I never asked for a refund, it just felt like they didn’t care to even read my message and just did some auto responses to try and close the support ticket (I promptly got a “thanks for contacting us, please review your experience with support” email). I sent another response asking again if there was a fix or if the product is defective. Given that the first couple responses were within a couple hours of contacting them and it has now been 2 days since my last response, I am guessing they are choosing to again ignore my question. Overall, a waste of money, a waste of time, and a waste of energy for a product that won’t last more than a year or apparently more than 3 uses. I only liked a couple of things about this product. It looks and feels like a nice quality razor (I was obviously deceived), it had a charging dock, and the guards were cool because they were adjustable between two lengths each. Overall, I’m just very disappointed in the product and how I was served by customer service. Go with a different brand and don’t bother giving Manscaped a try.

Excellent body trimmer. For once I’m impressed with something as hyped up. Typically I’m hesitant to try something that is so aggressively marketed towards consumers, as they typically do not work as intended or are fragile or what have you. But I am pleasantly surprised how well this works. It provides an excellent shave down to stubble and I have yet to physically cut myself using this. It’s also water proof which makes shaving in the shower like a dream and the LED flashlight is 10/10. USB-C rechargeable which is honestly super nice not to have to use some crappy proprietary charger you have to dig out every couple weeks to recharge it. Overall super nice and high quality.

Best grooming product I've ever used for underarms and private regions. The light is useful. Good battery life. If you use responsibly, you'll avoid nicks and cuts
