Finally got this little cup out of the box and put it to use on a recent road trip. Love it! Heats very quickly. 185 degrees in just a just over 10 minutes. Add a sleeve of instant Joe and enjoy (I like the Whole Foods 365 tubes). Cover seals tightly, no drips & easy to drink from. Definitely recommend!

This portable heating cup works great! I have a long commute 5 days a week, sometimes 6. I use this cup every morning for my tea. It heats up in 10ish mins to about 120 degrees, which is perfect for my tea. I have also used it at my lunch break to cook rice noodles in my office. I just let it run until it beeps at 210 degrees then put the water over the noodles and let it set until soft. It's small enough to take anywhere in its own carry bag that came with it. Just love it! Definitely worth having.

I started with room temp water and it never got above 196 after 30 minutes. The digital temp read out sat at 196 for quite some time and it did not get hotter. I tested the water temp with an instant read thermometer and it was 194 after I gave up and unplugged it so pretty close but certainly under performed the 70% 5 and 10% 4 star ratings that it got...which is why I purchased it. Very disappointed and it is not worth the money.

I love this little thing I use it everyday I'm living out of my car so it's good for heating water to make noodles with it's good for making tea coffee whatever anything you can boil to cook You can use it for that! And the best part is it barely uses any power think like 60 watts or something like that and boils water and like 5-10 minutes

My husband really likes to keep his coffee piping hot at ALL times. He also likes to savor it for many hours, which until now, seemed to be preferences that were in diametric opposition to one another. This meant transferring coffee into a microwaveable mug to reheat, repeatedly. For me, this meant listening to the microwave run and then beep, notifying him to “come and get it” all morning. Over the years we have had so many conversations about the idea that we could put a man on the moon, but his coffee loses boiling status far too quickly. To make matters more complex for him, we live at ~6k feet elevation (not altitude) and the rate of evaporation is working speedily against his efforts, 24-7. I am pleased to report that this little gadget works! He is able to dial in exactly what temp he prefers (I think he said 180 F?) and in his vehicle, this perfection is easily achievable. When in the house, he uses a vehicle car plug to electric outlet adapter (found here: https://a.co/d/4uFvvZd) to keep said coffee hot. It has to be the correct wattage (amperage?)…something… to work. So make sure you check the specs of the adapter and this little car kettle. Caution, open that top carefully! My husband just keeps the lid open while he’s maintaining temp. It will only get up to 202 F while the lid is open, but it won’t spray you this way. Happy trails and careful you don’t burn your lips!

The kettle works great went up 3 degrees in less than minute. The water was 80°F after 10 mins it was 154°F . If your working on the road or just need some hot water while your in a trip this kettle would work great. Would recommend it to anyone. I use it to rehydrate my lunch on the go. Easy to use easy cleaning comes with a good length cord a storage bag to keep the kettle a cord in and a strainer that is removable. When from room temp to boiling in 20 mins.
