I have been using the EGR upgraded 9000mAh V8 battery replacement for my Dyson V8 for about two months now, and so far it has been working very well. The battery holds its charge reliably, and I am able to clean my entire home on a single charge without any issues. I have a Dyson V8 and the battery has been starting to run down a lot sooner. I got this which has a higher capacity. It came with the battery along with replacement screws, a screw driver and replacement filters for the intake and exhaust. The install was very simple, remove the three screws and the battery comes out very easily. Put the new one in it's place and replace the screws. While it came with replacement screws, I just used the original ones. They were a little longer. There is one screw on the handle and two under the hatch at the bottom (see pics) The replacement battery looks very similar with a few minor differences that you can't see once it's installed. The new battery does have a little rubber bumper patch that sits flush at the bottom which is a nice touch. Although the battery has a higher capacity, it's not any larger. The battery feels well made very similar to the original one. The replacement filters seem just fine, similar to other aftermarket ones I've used in the past. I charged it overnight and used it until the battery was exhausted. It ran a very long time I didn't time it but it was almost twice as long if I had to guess. Normally I can do the steps and the upstairs and a little bit of the downstairs before the battery ran down, when it was new. With this replacement I did that but also the basement, basement stairs the whole downstairs and it was still going. I did all the corners and went over a few places because I wanted to run it all the way down before recharging. TLDNR? Easy to install, quality made and lasts a very long time, worth the price. update: 1/1/26 I've been using the new battery for a little while now. It's still working well and lasts a long time. The battery lasts pretty long. I tend to run out of steam before the battery does. I use to do most of the house on regular power and a few high traffic area spots on max. Now I can do the whole house then switch to MAX and do most of the house again. More often than not I finish before the battery is exhausted.

It was an easy install and fit/finish looks good. Battery life was much improved over a 5 year+ battery. I haven't tested the limits but it feels as good as the original, maybe even slightly better. Time will tell on longevity though. So far, I like it with some caveats. It does come in the black plastic that the other pictures are showing, which I'm not a fan of. Also it isn't as responsive as the old battery. It seems to start and stop late compared to your trigger pull. The review that talks about the action switch/plunger length being different may be on to something. Lastly, the screws that it came with are junk - try not to strip the original screws.

My old battery was a replacement purchased from Amazon. It lasted about three years. It still worked OK on the low speed but the battery died after about one minute on the high speed. It was a 5000mAh battery. The new battery has 9000mAh so I'm hoping to get a longer life out of it. Installation was quick and easy. So far it has worked perfectly on the high speed.

Questa batteria per Dyson V6 è perfetta. È stata molto facile da installare, con una durata superiore rispetto all'originale grazie ai 6200mAh. Posso pulire tutta la casa senza interruzioni, ho decido di acquistarla perche ormai l'originale non reggeva più e mi stava dando problemi. Ottima qualità e compatibilità perfetta. In più, il kit include 3 filtri extra, anch'essi utilizzati e perfetti per sostituire gli originale vecchissimi. Dopo averlo utilizzo, il Dyson funziona benissimo senza cali di potenza. Consigliatissima per chi cerca un ricambio affidabile e duraturo!

Der Ersatzakku für meinen Dyson V10 hat mich bisher überzeugt. Die Leistung ist top – mein Staubsauger funktioniert wieder wie neu und die Laufzeit ist länger als mit dem Originalakku. Der Akku war sicher verpackt und wurde mit einer Anleitung, Schrauben , einem passenden Schraubendreher und zwei Filter geliefert, was den Austausch sehr einfach gemacht hat. Sollte die Leistung zeitnah nachlassen, werde ich meine Bewertung aktualisieren, aber bisher bin ich zufrieden. empfehlenswert!
