Samsung Galaxy Watch5 Pro 45mm R920N GPS (Renewed)

I wasn't too sure about buying a refurbished or renewed smartwatch after reading some of the other reviews. I was even more nervous when I got the box in the mail and saw how it was packaged and without any kind of instructions. But I was very pleasantly surprised when I saw the watch. No nicks or scratches at all. It looked brand new. I had to do some research and talk to some friends to help me with the setup but it works beautifully. It's a 45 mm so the screen is pretty big for a woman. I probably accidentally ordered the men's version but I am very happy with the features. It's comfortable to wear all day and night after I got used to sleeping with something on my wrist. Overall I'd consider this a very good smartwatch to own. Initially it took some time to charge because it arrived completely dead. But after the first charge, it charges pretty quickly

This unit came to me with a new strap and charger similar to the originals but they are Chinese copies. Its quality is acceptable. The smartwatch was purchased under the name "Refurbished - Excellent" but I consider that it should have been classified as "Refurbished - Acceptable" since the Titanium casing had several marks (scratches and nicks) quite visible (for this reason I should have rated the seller barely 3 star). However, its performance and battery life are quite good. With the use I give it, its battery lasts between 50 and 60 hours. 2) I almost returned the 5 Pro because I had serious pairing problems with my phone (a Redmi 11S). It paired on the first day and then randomly lost connection. To link it again, it was necessary to reset it to factory settings. I had to do a lot of research on the internet and I found the solution. For the love of humanity, I share it with you right here: a) You must approve absolutely all permissions on your mobile for the Galaxy Wear and Samsung Health Apps by browsing Settings / Applications / Permissions. Among others, you must activate the Automatic Start in Background option. b) Go to Battery Optimization settings and enable “Auto Start” for each Samsung Galaxy Watch related app. c) Disable battery optimization for those same apps. d) This is the most important step (the one that no one tells you about): Go to Settings > System App Settings > Security > Boost Speed ​​> Lock Apps > Select Galaxy Watch Plugin + Samsung Accessory Service (on my Redmi Note 11S it is on Settings / Apps / System app settings / Security / Speed ​​boost / Lock apps). Only then did the 5 Pro stop disengaging and start working well. This procedure saved him from being returned to Amazon. In conclusion: The Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro is worth it today (July 2024). If you buy it on Amazon Renovated, you should know that you will not receive a unit in perfect aesthetic condition (even if they indicate that its condition is Excellent) and you will get accessories of medium or low quality. The best smartwatches with Wear OS have a battery life of 2 or 3 days maximum. If you agree with these features, you can get an excellent smartwatch for an average cost (not as low as it should be).

So I ended up buying this watch about a week before the 7 series dropped. I haven't kept up on watches, had the original Samsung watch, loved the looks, but was worthless to me because I couldn't even make it through a work day without charging. My fitbit died, so I went looking, saw reviews talking about battery and saw the price and went for it. Then the 7 came out and I felt like I made a mistake. I certainly did not. This thing is a beast on the battery. I get a ton of notifications, reply to them, play around on it, and easily get more than 2 days of use. I typically just charge it in the mornings as I get ready for work. Yes, I wear it as I sleep for tracking. The 'renewed' or whatever this is, is great. Not a scratch on it, looks absolutely brand new. The charger they send with sucks. Sucks really bad. Order yourself an OEM charger and toss the one that comes with it right away, or else you'll be charging an hour a day... With the OEM you do not need to do that. It's big, it's light on the wrist with the titanium, I'm extremely rough on watches, each Fitbit I owned was scratched up within days, after a couple of weeks, this still doesn't have a mark on it. Was concerned about buying renewed, but was extremely surprised and happy about the condition of my watch.

Unable to tell it was refurbished, brand new out the factory to me

My first, and possibly last Amazon renewed experience. Ordered the watch, excellent condition,and first one arrived with blemishes not befitting the condition description. No problem I thought, did s return/replace, dropped it off with an Amazon partner, and a replacement was dispatched. First watch still is showing as "return requested," despite having been dropped off nearly 10 days ago. Replacement watch arrived, looked great, set it up and wore it. Seemed fine for most of the day. Washed my hands, literally a little splash of water from the process and watch displayed 'too hot, shutting down to cool watch' message (it was 74 degrees and definitely not too hot) and then bricked. Wouldn't turn on, won't reset, just done. I'm not sure if it was the water, which makes no sense on an ip68 rated watch, or just a bad u it, but returned the 2nd one. All in all, pretty disappointed with the whole experience. Still waiting for the first return to process, 11 days later, to ensure I'm not chatged and have gone 0 for 2 on Amazon renewed devices. I can't say I'm eager to try another product with this status. Not sure if I'm just unlucky or the QC on the renewed products needs to be improved but wasn't what I was hoping when I purchased the watch 5 pro as an upgrade to my old and reliable gear s3 watch (as a day present to myself no less!)

Quedé gratamente sorprendido, ya he comprado relojes reacondicionados y este es el primero que recibo prácticamente nuevo, con caja y cargador original, no tiene detalles, se actualizó sin problemas y sirven todas las funciones. La pila se ve que ya hay desgaste pero por las condiciones del reloj con que me de 1 día o día y medio me soy por bien servido. Quizá el único pero que le po go es que no enviaron la versión lte como dice en la publicación y tampoco es que me importe, repito!!! Por las co diciones en que viene el reloj no me arriesgo a regresarlo y que me envíe. La que es pero con un reloj con mayor desgaste y diferentes condiciones. Por supuesto que recomiendo al vendedor. Todo le funciona, mando captura de pantalla donde le hago un diagnóstico, la prueba del cargador no está porque estaba en la calle pero anexo foto donde se está cargando. A una semana de uso, después de hacer todas las actualizaciones, dejar el reloj como a mi me gusta, con always on display siempre activo, monitoreo cardíaco cada 10 minutos y con un uso mixto, el reloj me dio 2 días y 18 hasta, para ser un reloj de 2022 y que siga dando ese rendimiento estoy más que contento. Excelente compra y por supuesto que recomiendo al vendedor. 👌

El reloj esta en inmemorables condiciones, como nuevo. El cargador es genérico y no cumple los tiempos de carga pero yo le veo el lado bueno porque la carga lenta implica menos desgaste de la batería. Parece que estuvo guardado mucho tiempo porque no cargaba los primeros minutos. Es un reloj premium a un tercio de su precio de salida, es ligero considerando sus capacidades y duración de batería. Ideal para los que tengan un samsung. En México funciona el ECG y la presión arterial, es muy recomendable

Excelente producto, solo tiene un pequeño raspón en la carcasa, pero nada grave y solo visible a detalle, el cargador es genérico pero funciona bien y el paquete de entrega es igual genérico, pero el reloj es original y su extensible. Me gustó mucho. Yo agregué ya un protector. Las 4 estrellas solo por el cargador genérico.

A funcionado bien, con el casi dos meses. Le dura la pila 3 días aproximadamente. En cuando a estética le doy un 8 ya que trae sus detalles de uso. Se compró Reacondicionado. Lo único malo es que no funciona electrocardiograma a menos que tenga 1 celular Samsung.

Tengo exactamente un año con el reloj, a cumplido su función y tuve la suerte que llegara en excelentes condiciones apesar de ser reacondicionado, en un principio le duraba la pila 3 dias y medio con ahorro de batería y algo limitado en otras Funciones, pero si lo usas a todo Full dura 2 dias casi completos
