Great replacement for clear type valve
bought to replace a valve on an inflatable hot tub cover.. the old valve was the clear type like a big arm band valve.. it split around the base so decided to try this.. it worked brilliant... just cut off the old valve and as this screws in 2 pieces you put one on the inside of the opening and the other half on the outside and it clamps the vinyl material between the 2 pieces so no glue or adhesive is needed.. it is low profile too plus now has the clip on valve.. Great upgrade and saved replacing the lid at £60.. very happy with this..one side note is I had the pump already to suit this but if you have a generic pump with push on valve adapters then you may need to get a pump or adapter that is the same they use on stand up paddle boards..(sup)
