Great weather station
Great weather station. I appreciate the non color LED screen, keeps things basic but still functional and easy to read

The price is reasonable
Slightly larger numbers would improve this device. It is accurate and reliable.

Sometimes simpler is best
Since our analog outdoor thermometer now reads 65-90 in the snow, it was time for a change. After reading lots of mediocre reviews of various color, back-lit, and wifi'd systems, I settled for one that is quite basic. Since looking out the window only gave us the temperature, that was all we really needed; this does that. Its a basic LCD display, so I expect the batteries will last a while; no color, no back light. Yes its hard to read in the dark, but mostly we want to see it first thing in the morning. So far so good. We tested it by placing the sensor, next to the base unit, in our unheated garage, and then in our outdoor mailbox. The inside and garage readings seemed reasonable but the mailbox provided a 47 reading with 14" of snow on the ground. As it turns out, the temperature was right, it was just a warm day. We don't care if the "forecasting" works, thats what the tv is for at news time. This fits the bill for a simple, easy to read and inexpensive outdoor thermometer.

I'm pretty pleased with this thing
I spent a LOT of time looking for an. . . what to call it?. . . 'entry level weather-station-like' device. What I am saying, not a true weather station - but something fairly close to being like one.I looked at dozens of these things on Amazon, with dozens of different combinations of features, and finally settled on this low-priced Accurite.I decided that I didn't need the kind that displayed everything in color (more strain on batteries, and didn't want the plug-in-the-wall kind, or push-a-button-to-see-the-data kind), just the 'always on for viewing' monochrome kind would do just fine. Also didn't need the rain gauge thing, or the wind measurement thing - just wanted the indoor/outdoor temps, humidity indoor and out, and barometer. The barometer part is still "Learning" (it says this on the display - not sure what this means, exactly). One day the barometric pressure dropped a teensy bit, the thing said I was in for a wind, rain and lightning storm. Well. . . I'm in northern California, not gonna be any rain (or wind or lightning) in the forecast anytime soon (at 104 temps in the Sacramento area at the time of this "prediction", it ain't gonna happen). The directions said that the barometer part might be "Learning" for a couple of weeks or so, I'll wait to pass judgement on what it finally "learns".But I will say that I am completely satisfied with the device, just as it is - the indoor/outdoor temps are accurate - with is mostly what I was looking for, anyway (I checked the temps against against a thermometer I have, for accuracy verification). Anything else - indoor/outdoor humidity, outdoor dew point, barometer - for me, are just icing on the cake. The device arrived, insert batteries, easy set-up (actually minimal set up - just needed to set this thing for my time zone). What's not to like?If you are looking for a bare-bones, monochrome, battery-powered, instrument, at a VERY reasonable price (at the time I bought this it was about $29.00) this is definitely the one for you.Enjoy. :-)

Good outdoor thermometer
This is a budget friendly, made in China, indoor/outdoor thermometer with some basic weather station functions. The Outdoor thermometer works well, as long as it is out of the sun. Place it on a dark side of a tree trunk, or under a deck behind a post as I did. The indoor thermometer is much more susceptible to sunlight. Any light touching it will skew the temperature by 10 degrees or more. The case is cheap plastic and I assume the probe is sitting right against the plastic, which is why it is so sensitive to light. As for the predictions of upcoming weather, so far it has indicated rain on numerous occasions, and it never materialized. I guess it correlates any rise in outdoor humidity as an opportunity for rain. I do not put much stock in any predictions provided.

Works well, product photo shows incorrect display image
This has replaced a similar AccuRite weather display that finally succumbed to old age. I like that it has a barometer, dew point and moon phase. So far, has been very accurate with outdoor and indoor temps. The reliability of the predictive forecast icons are hit and miss. It's not a big deal, but the sensor signal display is not located in the upper left corner, as shown in the photo. It's actually located just above the outdoor humidity reading on the right hand side, which makes for a cramped appearance. Far from a deal breaker, but don't stare at that area waiting for the sensor signal to connect. :)

Good for indoor station, with outdoor monitoring.

Outdoor unit does not work from even 10 feet

Bonne station météo.
Après les 14 jours que le baromètre s'habitue à l'environnement, le système semble précis et annonce bien le temps qui s'en vient. Intéressant le fait que tout se met à l'heure et la date sans intervention.

Works well
This works well for me, is accurate, even right now in our extreme cold, -15 with -24 windchill. Only down side is it’s hard to read, the background is dark with black numbers. Needs a lighter or white background to be easier to read without picking it up or getting close

Basic and easy to read
I just wanted a station that is easy to set up and give me the inside and outside temps. The additional things such as barometric pressure, inside and outside humidity and moon phases are just pluses that I appreciate and don’t complicate the setup procedure. I didn’t need all the bells and whistles and the engineering degree required to set up a weather station. This meets my wants very adequately thank you.
