Right out of the box, this probe was broken. Doesn't function at all. Very disappointed.

I got this particularly for its wire-piercing tip, which helps to quickly identify wires without having to find end connectors to tap them.Unit is fairly sturdy. Tip is sharp and pierces wire decently. Strain relief works. Red alligator wire goes to negative, despite color. Reverse-polarity is fine, lights green instead of red (again, unintuitive color choice). Cord stretches to 6 feet as stated. End can be unscrewed and meter flipped around for positive-ground cars.Worked properly for 3V to 32V (didn't have a higher supply). Was accurate within 0.1V. Draws ~7mA.
