The lead is soft enough to make good and legible impressions, but hard enough to not frequently break. Lasts a long time too.

Very nice leads
I like his product very much. Leads do not smudge too much and the lines are nice and dark. Using this in a Caran d'ache 844 mechanical pencil and I'm quite happy with it. Will purchase 0.5MM leads for my other mechanical pencils!
