Great clock
My dad lost his sight. He can see it slightly but he just pushes the button and it tells him the time.

Slightly used in package
This came used. How do I know screen on clock was scratched. It doesn’t charge so it will remain plugged in. My father has bad eyesight so he liked the brightness of the numbers and the size of the clock. I’m just mad that it was used.

great.
This alarm clock is a cute little clock. The text is big enough and vivid, so it would be good for older ppl who need to see the time from far away too. It took me a while to figure out how to set the time. It's easy to use, so I think it would be a good idea to buy it and try it out.

a vibrating clock with a thermometer and battery backup-quite useful indeed!
This is one of the nicer digital alarm clocks I've ever had the pleasure (or displeasure, in the event it wakes me up in the morning after not enough sleep!) of owning. It has a lot of really useful features that are unusual to most other alarm clocks I've had. I will get to those positive features in a moment, first I'd like to address the one, somewhat major, negative I struggled with at first. That negative is the instruction manual. It is in dire need of an updated translation because I can barely understand it and it has made using all of the clocks features very difficult. To be honest, I'm still not sure I fully understand how to use every last feature or know what each button does. Nevertheless, after some time studying the instructions, I have been able to figure out mostly what it does and how to program each of the settings. One of the coolest features is its ability to vibrate, which helps wake up heavy sleepers (like me) and those hard of hearing or even deaf. The vibrations are quite powerful and I'd say impossible to ignore, so that feature is definitely effective. The clock also has a feature for announcing the hour, every hour on the hour, which the manual states is for the elderly- I would imagine for elderly who cant see as well? Either way, its a cool feature that it can speak. This speaking feature can also, thankfully, be turned off.I like that it has a battery inside, so if it gets unplugged it will remember all the settings as well as the time. Lastly, I like that it has a thermometer and displays the temperature at all times which is useful and also has a spot to display the date which is handy. All in all I really like this alarm clock so far. Time will tell how durable it is, but it seems to be built quite well. Its plastic, but nevertheless feels quite durable. I would recommend this item with 5 stars.

Nice bedroom clock; easy to read, nice added features
I got this Awaiymi clock for bedroom use. I was mostly interested in a product that has really legible numbers, has battery backup, and has adjustable brightness. This clock does all this and more, and I like it a lot.The clock does a lot of things I don't really need (at least yet!), but it functions great as a clock. I set it to the dimmest setting--still plenty legible--so it doesn't light up the bedroom too much at night. Setting the alarm is easy, but I only use it in the backup 'must-get-up' situation since I usually use the Echo for alarms. Having three alarms makes sense, I suppose, for people with medication or other timed needs. Nice to have as an option. I haven't explored the 'talking' feature, and hope I don't end up needing that option. Again, nice to have built in, though.I do like having the room thermometer built into the clock. The date function works well, but I suppose it might be a bit confusing to people not familiar with European or military ways of stating the date (2 February, for example), but it's easy to get used to.Overall, this is a good product that should last as long as it's not dropped or otherwise damaged. I appreciate that the large numerals are easy to read, that it has battery backup in case of power outages, and that it can be dimmed to a reasonable level. Good product.

No hourly reporting
My main purpose for purchasing this item was for the hourly reporting. This device does NOT report the time hourly. Also, after bring plugged in to charge for over 24 hours, the device ceased functioning when I removed it from the charger. Rather disappointed in this product.

Doesn't do everything it says
I got this specifically because I need medication reminders for my mom and the descriptions says "voice alarm clock designed for the elderly to help eliminate anxiety about skipping drugs. At least 3 alerts sent a regular reminder with your own voice. Leave a loving information, medicine or activity reminders." I took that to mean that I could record a message that would play at a set time to tell my mom to take her meds. It does not do that. There is no way to record your own voice or message. The directions are poorly translated and even show a button that is labeled "voice control mode" but it is actually just the volume button..no voice control at all. SO, while this clock has a good screen, 3 alarms, clear voice that tells the time and works well as an alarm clock...it isn't what I actually needed. An Alarm isn't sufficient enough for my mom to know to take her meds...she hears the alarm and is confused as to if she is supposed to be waking up? or going someplace etc. OK for visual impairment but not at all for memory care needs. Nice little clock though so I still gave it 3 stars.
