I ordered this pretty black velvet dress for a concert my handbell choir was playing. Since it is made in China, I went up a size larger than I usually get. I am so glad I did! Even though, psychologically, it was difficult to order an XL (it shouldn’t have been, I know), it was a great fit! The dress is so comfortable and everything was the right length! The 3/4 sleeves that end with a loose ruffle are so pretty and the flared skirt is just enough to give a pretty silhouette. The price was great and it was delivered in 2 days, I think. I immediately hung it up and it didn’t even need ironing. That is a win in itself! I’m considering ordering this dress in another color for a wedding in February. If you need a velvet dress, you will not be disappointed in this one. I am pretty picky about my clothes and I love this dress.

The size is precise, the color is beautiful, very comfortable. Very lovely, such a nice dress for a nice event.

this shows a perfect waistline on the dress and looks great - however, the dress you will get (and I ordered 3 different ones in different sizes) will NOT, I repeat will not have a proper waistline - unless you are as flat busted as a 10 year old boy this "waistline" will appear just below your bust. The dress is made well and I am sorry that not only did I have to return but I had to Pay UPS for a bag because Amazon ships in clear bags and USP told me that won't take it back in a clear bag - what a gimmick that is

The dress was filthy, stuffed with an orange dust and some fluff around. The left sleeve had a big band across the fabric (fabric defect)I am sending the dress back.
