The media could not be loaded. This is fantastic! Beautiful! And whether they listened to reviews or its people not understanding less sand is more when creating designs in the sand. Too much sand and it fills back in as you rake, roll. I was one that made that mistake and bought more for my last one. It was too much and super frustrating that designs didn’t hold. But I hated having a thin amount. Now I understand the process. I use this for sand tray therapy with kids. And mindfulness activity with adults in my private practice! It’s perfect!

I set this up in my office and it looks professional. No assembly needed other than pouring the sand in.

this is such a great zen garden kit. it comes with a bunch of accessories. it would make a wonderful gift for a friend, family member, or even a coworker. I am still trying to figure out where to place it in my home since I have cats. it is calming to use and beautiful to look at

The organized visual set-up and simplicity of this Zen Garden Sand Tray immediately sets the stage for a relaxing experience. The little yoga figure provides a visual focus and reminder to stay relaxed, calm, peaceful, and to slow down and enjoy the present moment. Moving the spheres around the sand is great for finger exercise, too. The sand experience is kind of an adult version of playing in a sandbox ~ enjoyable, fun, and creative! The Zen Garden was well-packaged with lots of love and care.As wonderful as the actual experience is, there are a few less-than-great aspects. The base (where you add the sand) could be better sanded and finished. As made, it’s a bit rough, and I got a splinter in my finger before I even began my sand experience. The handle on the brush has some artistic cut-outs that are a bit rough to the touch and need to be finished more completely. There is no lid or protector to put over the sand to protect the sand when not being used, or to prevent the sand from being blown by a draft of air movement. No scoop is provided to make it easy to put the sand back into their bags.

This is the third zen garden I have purchased (and I have an additional one that I assembled from found objects). I have to say, this one is my favorite because of the circular shape.The roller balls are really fun to use for sand patterns. I like that there is a brush in addition to the rake. Unfortunately, I can't quite figure out where to put them. It would have been nice if the holder for the balls had a compartment for the rake and brush.The meditator figure is a little silly. I don't use that, but have added a small imitation bonsai tree to the garden.All in all, it's nicely made and a good value as far as zen garden sets go. I am pleased with it and find it enjoyable to use for relaxation. It is currently in my middle school classroom and the students enjoy using it for mindfulness breaks.
