I can't say enough good about this product. I have the smaller one for in the house and it works perfectly. I'm in an old house and for some reasons flies are an issue this time of year. I'd been using those window glue sheets that also worked, but I have to admit that aesthetically there weren't the best. Whilst I loved squishing them once they were trapped as if I were Vlad the Impaler, they were off-putting to visitors. I don't think I'd use it outside because it does attract moths in huge numbers, but in the house it does away with gnats, fruit flies, mosquitos and the dreaded house flies. I'm going to purchase another for the basement, who knows what is lurking down there.....

Okay I must say that I'm impressed! I have battled wasps on my back patio for years. So I decided to give this device a try and honestly I wasn't optimistic. It is now been 3 months, during the time that the Wasps are always the worst. And I have not had one nest built anywhere in the vicinity of my backyard. I'm amazed at how many dead bugs I empty from that thing about every two weeks. I've recommend it to my mother and my sister. Absolutely satisfied and now able to better enjoy my patio

I ordered this because we are trying to control mosquitos in our backyard. It worked fine for 2 months, collecting lots of bugs and we would open the bottom flap to empty it regularly. Unfortunately, one time when i was emptying, I was shaking it to shake the bugs out, and the bottom flap fell off. While trying to re-attach the flap, both of the legs snapped off, making it impossible to re-attach. They can't be glued because of the angle of the break and the pressure they use to snap in. So just get a replacement flap, right? Should be easy. This is a popular product and this seems like a part that could break easily. Unfortunately, after searching multiple websites, including Dynatrap's own, there is no replacement available anywhere. I contacted Dynatrap, and got an email response back saying they could not provide a replacement part, and they offered no further support. I contacted Amazon, and since the item was out of the return window, they could not refund or replace anything. So now it's just a piece of junk. 2 months of use, and now it's broken and useless, with no support provided by Dynatrap. Waste of money, and now it's just plastic junk for me to throw away. Works fine until it breaks, and then you're out of luck.

Works great. Fills up fast, which is exactly what you want. The bugs are not always dead though, so watch out when emptying them. Makes outside areas usable in the summer. The volume of bugs it catches will quickly collapse the population in the surround area. Very quiet, especially for outside use.

I got this to kill mosquitoes. I only ran it one night because I found that fireflies got into it. I don’t know if it works for mosquitoes but it definitely attracts anything flying around.

I have a half acre. It doesn't cover the whole thing. My front door still stays covered with insect. I'd suggest removing that statement. It's a lot (less) than .25 coverage . But does catch an ok amount of insects. Thought about getting another one. But honestly just bothered by that statement and it's not cheap.

We purchased one 7years ago. It’s been a real bug catcher. We have to empty it at least 6 times a year. I can’t get over it lasting 7 years running 24-7. This size is perfect for our back deck and the space under the deck. That’s why I made sure we got the exact thing

We've been using the DynaTrap DT1130 for the last few years, and while its functionality has generally been impressive, we’ve encountered significant durability issues that have led us to replace the unit four times over the past four years. Let’s start with the positives: The DynaTrap DT1130 does an excellent job at trapping and eliminating mosquitoes and other flying insects. The three-way protection system—using UV light, CO2, and a quiet fan—works as advertised, keeping our outdoor spaces much more comfortable during the warmer months. The unit is relatively low maintenance, and it covers a good amount of area, making it great for patios, gardens, or backyards. It’s easy to set up, and the design is compact, so it doesn’t take up too much space or look intrusive in the yard. However, the big downside to this product is its durability. After purchasing and replacing the DT1130 four times in four years, it's clear that the build quality isn’t up to par for long-term use. The first unit lasted just over a year before it started malfunctioning, with the fan motor becoming increasingly noisy and eventually failing entirely. After that, the replacement units performed well for a year or so, but similar issues began cropping up with each subsequent purchase. Whether it's problems with the fan, the UV light, or the motor, the product seems to have a tendency to wear out quickly. Considering the price point, this is disappointing. If it weren’t for the need to replace the unit so often, we would be much more satisfied with its performance. The DynaTrap DT1130 does work exceptionally well while it’s functioning, but the short lifespan makes it difficult to recommend as a long-term solution. In conclusion, the DynaTrap DT1130 is an excellent option if you need effective mosquito control, and its function is top-notch. But if you’re looking for durability and longevity, be prepared for potential frustration. The frequent replacements have made us question whether the product is worth the investment in the long run, despite its strong performance when it’s working. If DynaTrap can improve the durability of this model, it would undoubtedly be a top choice for pest control.

Mi prima me la recomendó como una maravilla... la verdad es que funciona, pero no es tan buena como presumen...

This Dynatrap device came delivered with only a US-120 volt power plug, hardwired all the way. So no way to change the cord or use local adaptor for 220V which is the standard here. Nowhere does it indicate voltage options on its external packaging, nor does it state anything regarding required voltage in its documentation. Honestly surprised if this is even legal to sell in EU, as plugging it into 220V by changing the plug itself to EU standard will cause instant blowout/burn if plugging it in.
