Great additions to my windows that are sun facing in the afternoon sun.
I needed something as I sit facing the hot afternoon sun in the summer. NO trees as a tornado took them. These went on easy. Use lots of water like others stated. I got a squeegee from the dollar store and it is wide enough that it works perfectly. I would suggest getting the actual size of your window so it goes on in one strip. Easy to cut and easy to apply. The texture is thicker than I thought. It does help the heat of the one room. You can see out but others from the street can't see in UNTIL dark. No adhesive besides from your water bottle. They go on good and if you need to readjust them they do come off easily and can be added back with no issues. I'm glad I got them.

First time tinting windows, this product was a good start
So, overall, the product worked well for me. I have a few minor complaints. I assume my issue with the final result was based on the install kit (plastic blade/edge/squeegee/whatever you want to call it) being imperfect and not this product being too soft, but please be aware of my issue and read up on making sure your blade is perfect or using a softer edge like rubber/felt. In the end, I have swirl marks all over the tint, which looks like swirl marks after washing your car with a dirty sponge. Pros: -Tint was shipped quickly and wrapped pretty well. -The color is a bit blue, and it ends up looking to me like it's a cloudy/rainy day outside. I was worried it would be darker, but it's not bad. Cons: -Mirror finish ended up being a bit duller than I thought from the photos, but it still looks fine. -They use tape to keep the roll together (2 pieces on each), and the tape left a super sticky residue. I had to use a little rubbing alcohol to take off the residue before putting it up. I would recommend a better quality tape or a rubber band, but it was fine. -The material had a few creases on the end from shipping or packaging. Since they were on the edge, they were just trimmed off anyway, but look for them before you install if you need the entire roll. Overall: I was really happy with this product. It worked well and I feel good about my results for first time window tinting. I would purchase this product again, and likely will because of the swirl marks unfortunately. I did 4 smaller windows, and it probably took me 10 minutes per window to install and get the bubbles out. If you are a first timer, I would recommend using a LOT of solution, a softer edged blade, and working the bubbles out starting at the most visible or important edges and ending at the least visible edge. They all look good, but the bottom edge is not visible since the windows are high, so if there were a small bubble or two, I would rather them be there. So far so good though.

Mirror effect
This is my first attempt of applying any sort of window film product. Installation was easier than I thought it might be, but you learned a few tricks along the way. Highly recommend this product to help. Keep your home cooler by reflecting the sun.

Kids can remove
Easily removable and it seems like when it gets hot outside, bubbles tend to appear. I really like the product, but my toddler is able to remove it very easily, even when it's adhere to the window perfectly. Meaning it's easy to remove if needed but also if not needed as well. So daily I go and redo the tint and remove ALL bubbles. The top half stays good. But since I have kids, the bottom half always seems to come undone due to the kids, unsure if it has helped with heat. Tint gets really hot compared to the regular glass. Also seems foggy for some reason. It definitely took out alot of light that was coming in. And as long as you have all the bubbles out it looks ok. But Not perfect.

High clarity, excellent mirror effect, USE TONS OF SOAPY WATER - LOTS - INSTRUCTIONS BELOW
Does exactly what I need it to do - mirrors the external view of my windows for complete daytime privacy. My film is not nearly as dark as represented in the photo (which I was happy to discover as I applied it). It will darken your view, but more like wearing mild sunglasses. Applied correctly it is perfectly clear and I forget it is even on the window. Installation can be really frustrating IF you do not follow the directions regarding using A TON OF SOAPY WATER ON BOTH SIDES as you apply. SOAK the window - have soapy water running down the (previously well-cleaned) window, so much water that the film will slide as you apply it. If your film cannot slide as you lay it against the window *you do not have enough soapy water* - pull it back and try it again. Whenever you need to adjust the film, lift up the edge and pour more handfuls of soapy water between the film and window. Soapy water on the outside of the film is required to 'float' your squeegee as you evenly squeegee bubbles out to the sides. USE MORE SOAPY WATER THAN YOU THINK YOU WOULD NEED. Add it frequently as you install, and add more if you run into any problems. Incidentally I did not purchase a squeegee to install the film - I used a credit card and it worked just fine. If you wrinkle the film, you will have a permanent visible line, even if you manage to work the wrinkle out during the squeegee process. To minimize the chance of this happening, have a second person hold the opposite top edge as you peel off the protective film from the product so that you can keep it flat (it will try to stick to itself - don't let it!), and have that person help you align the top edge, *holding it taut*, and then gently allowing the film to contact the window starting from top to bottom. Once you've got your film positioned (laying it on slowly from top edge to bottom seems to be the best way to minimize the bubbles on the initial part of the process), and have slid it on the soapy water to exactly where you want it (again, if it does not slide, you do not have enough soapy water! you *will* get wrinkles that will never come out), you can start working the bubbles out with your choice of squeegee objects. Slide from the center to the edges, be patient, make several passes over stubborn bubbles from each direction (and if they simply won't come out, peel that side up again, check for grit or hairs, re-soak the area with soapy water and try again). As you work the bubbles out, that huge amount of soapy water will squeegee out as well - have a small towel ready to soak it up as it slides to the edge. If you do all of these things, you've got a good chance of applying the film without bubbles, without wrinkles, very well adhered to the window, and with a crystal clear view. The moral of the story? USE LOTS AND LOTS OF SOAPY WATER. MORE THAN YOU THINK YOU NEED. If you don't do that, you will have a negative experience with this film. A final installation note - I have used other window films that had a very slight stretchy quality making it easy to get a perfect fit. This film does not stretch *at all*. So make your initial cut as accurate as possible. A criticism of the product quality control - my roll came with a wrinkle already in place - and once there's a wrinkle, the film is creased and it will be visible no matter how carefully you install the product. This is simply a quality control issue, but it is one that should be noted and marked down.

Great for energy saving and cheap!!
The window film was very easy to install once I figured out how to do it. I used a credit card, box cutter, and water in a spray bottle. Took about 15 minutes or so to get it all up on two 26x35” windows. I definitely recommend having a helper to keep the film from rolling while trying to place in window. My teen daughter held the room and I did the rest. For $8 It’s a great and cheap way to reduce heat and as some privacy to her room. I highly recommend this!! I need to add it’s obviously not the best quality but for the price and effectiveness it looks really nice and does do a fantastic job at blocking light.

Good
It is a little difficult to apply which creates some air bubbles. But, it does make harder to see from the outside. Also, it makes less sun shine through. Was also able yo cut it into different shapes that I wanted.
