Connecting Solar Assistant to an inverter.
I used this to connect my Solar Assistant, to a Growatt inverter. It worked instantly, and was exactly what was required. I stupidly tried a different one first that didn't work, but this one works perfectly.

I brought this item and used with Windows 11 & Modscan. Worked straight out of the box with no manual driver configuration necessary. Used to read values from a Carlo Gavazzi EM21 electricity meter. Very good value for money

Works fine for me. If using with a laptop (no common ground) make sure you do connect a common ground as well as A % B

Beseitigt Verbindungsprobleme sofort – Zuverlässige Industriequalität!
Nachdem ich mich zuvor mit zwei günstigen Billiglösungen herumgeärgert hatte, die ständig zu Verbindungsabbrüchen führten, habe ich schlussendlich zu diesem Adapter von Waveshare gegriffen. Was soll ich sagen: Damit habe ich endlich eine absolut stabile und dauerhafte RS485-Verbindung für meine Heidelpay Wallbox in Kombination mit evcc hinbekommen! Seit dem Einstecken läuft die Kommunikation ohne jegliche Zicken oder Aussetzer im Hintergrund durch. Der eingebaute CH343G-Chip verrichtet in Verbindung mit der RS485-Schutzbeschaltung hervorragende Arbeit. Man merkt sofort, dass hier echte Industriequalität verbaut ist und kein billiger Nachbau. Wer seine Wallbox oder andere empfindliche Systeme sauber auslesen und steuern möchte, sollte sich den Ärger mit No-Name-Adaptern sparen und gleich zu diesem Modul greifen. Volle 5 Sterne und eine klare Empfehlung!
