Ashens And The Quest For The Gamechild Double Play [Blu-ray & DVD]

Excellent film! Fans of 'Ashens' from Youtube will know what to expect, and won't be disappointed..... A low-budget film that looks far better than it should, with great performances, and even some big name actors involved.... Ashens comedic style, and dry humour really pays-off, and it's good to see references to past Youtube videos sprinkled throughout.... A comedy that'll never age - unlike a lot of foodstuffs as previously sampled by Ashens.... ;-)

I'm a massive fan of Ashens, ExtraAshens and Barshens, so this film was perfect for me, and I loved every minute.I've actually met Stuart Ashen (a very very nice man), and also have the 2 "terrible games" books. Funny, full of in jokes and really well made, the production values are fantastic, considering this is a low budget indie, it looks like it cost a whole lot more.Stuart is great as always, Chef excellence, The Silver Skull, and mention of all the tat from the channel.are all present and correct. If you are an Ashens fan, what are you waiting for? at this price, this is a no brainer, it's a good bit of entertainment.

I've been watching Ashen on youtube for ages and much of the comedy and characters from his channel including Chef Excellence and the Silver Skull have been incorporated into this film.The Gamechild is a rip-off of the original Nintendo Gameboy which has been reviewed on Ashens youtube channel.If you haven't watched Ashens channel before some of the jokes may not come across that well but the film is definitely still worth watching as the film making has been well done for a budget release.

This is a great film, and I'm glad that its finally got a physical release.If you aren't familiar with Ashens' YouTube videos, I reccomend you watch some of them first, before buying the film. I say this because he has a sense of humor that some people might not find as funny as others. Its also worth watching his videos first so that you understand some of the references, such as Chef Exellence and Sadonion.Postage was also quick... not that anyone really cares.

Been following Ashens for about 2 years, had to buy this and totally loved it! Might not be for everyone but really made me laugh! An Excellent review!

I love the film, I didn't love the Blu-ray case coming pre cracked and broken. Maybe work on your packing and handling, otherwise good.

Bought as a gift but the receiver seems happy
