Hello. The FloLogic System comes with a local control panel in addition to the WiFi module. The local control panel means anyone in the home can access the device for mode changes (app is not required), etc. It also provides that even if the WiFi goes down, FloLogic continues to operate and catch and automatically shut off leaks. This is a distinguishing advantage for FloLogic vs. most other app-based leak detection systems.

Yes. There is a FloLogic app developed for smart phone control and alerts. The FloLogic System will have a CONNECT Module that enables this functionality —expected to begin shipping in September. The Module will be available for app-based control on new Systems and reverse comparable for older Systems as well. FloLogic is not a water metering device, like other products marketed as leak detectors that provide water volume data. Those devices can not see leaks below 16 to 32 or more ounces per minute-so they may allow destructive leaks to go unnoticed. FloLogic can see flow (and leaks) starting at 1/2 ounce per minute, making it the most comprehensive real time leak detector on the market. It’s sensitivity can be adjusted in specific ounce-per-minute flow increments. Many municipalities have, or are converting to, advanced meters, allowing you to get daily volume data if that is important to you.
