This was surprisingly easier than I thought it would be. I didn’t think my dogs would let me get that close and personal while they pee, but it worked. And the results were quick. Our 11 year old minchie always seems to have a different issue all the time, and his pee usually smells pretty strong and not good, so this really put my mind at ease when the results came back within normal range! This price is cheaper than a vet visit. Just have them pee in the plastic container and dip the tester in and you’ll get your results quick. It’s a pretty durable piece of plastic so it won’t collapse on you while it fills up also.

I was really hoping my cat would let me bother her just long enough to get the urine needed to see if there's anything I should be worried about but she is NOT having it! The directions are clear & it looks easy to use but I'm just not able to collect "the needed ingredients" at this time, but I will update this review if I'm ever able to use it.

I think these are accurate. The biggest issue is getting the cat pee collected. I have multiple cats so that can add a layer of complexity. The easiest way I've found to do that is to have one of those litter boxes that collect the pee in the tray and lock the kitty in a spare room or bathroom so it's just ONE kitty and not multiple. Then pour in and use this kit. I'm really glad I have this. It's a lot cheaper than getting tests run at the vet and then it's easier to know if I need to bring them to the vet.

I can't say anything about the accuracy of this, but I do have something to say about the collection cups... they seriously need a longer handle... I do NOT want to put my hand that close to my cat's butt and the litter in the litter box. Also, I would prefer to have something that has a long handle so I can make sure that I don't get pee on me should the stream of urine hit the plastic wrong... so maybe at least a splashguard?I plan to tape some popsicle sticks to the handle and try this. Will update if I run into any other issues.

Having these home-tests for our dog are a life saver. We have a small Terrier mix who is prone to getting crystals in her Urine. Life threatening, however, can be adjusted if we know ahead of time and are able to adjust her diet. The problems lies in the COST of having our Vet perform this simple urine test. First, there is the cost of the Clinic visit, then the actual test - AND, the cost of "disposing of medical waste" (the test kit). Instead, we can now regularly check her urine's Ph and then, IF we suspect a return of the crystals, we can then go to the Vet and re-check. These home-urine tests may not be the end-all, but can help pet owners keep track of their cat or dog's health more frequently and then follow-up with their Vet when appropriate.

I ordered the Home Urine Test Kit for Cats and Dogs, Super Easy pet Urine Collection, Urine pH Test for Pets, Very Easy to Collect and Test Your pet's Urine to see if there was anything noteworthy in my cat's urine. He was NOT at all compliant with my attempts to 'sneak' the cup under him while he was in the litter box. At first he would try to move away from me, but then he hopped out. I tried again a couple days later and he hissed at me. That said, the test itself is super easy to use (if you are able to collect a sample). Directions were straightforward and clear. I am going to keep trying and will update when I have results.

The most challenging part of this product is to collect your kitty cat's pee. Once you do that, testing is a breeze.

If there was an easier way to collect the urine I'd give this more stars. It's very tricky to get the cat to comply! I have tried every tactic to get my cat's urine but he isn't going for it. As soon as I try to slip the catcher underneath him while he's in the litter box, he stops and jumps out! He's probably thinking what's wrong with this perv?!! I'm about to just give up. This would save so much money vs the vet, if only I can get my cat to go along with it! No such luck!

簡単に採取できてたすかります。とって６時間以内に病院に持っていけば検査してくれます。うちの子は排尿の時間がだいたい決まっているので楽でした。

システムトイレでシートを敷かずに採尿したり、コットンのようなもので採尿する方法もありますが、やはり直に採取できた方が不純物が含まれる心配がないので、このようなキットを探していました。自宅で簡易テストもでき、とても便利です。採尿容器は少し大きいかな？とも思うのですが、猫は排尿をはじめると容器を差し込んでも途中でやめたりしませんので、100%採尿に成功しています。我が家の猫は2匹とも膀胱炎になりやすいので、何度も購入し、常にストックしています。パッケージも可愛いです。

お尻を砂ぎりぎりにつけておしっこする子ですが出始めてからそっと差し込むと上手に採取出来ました。コツは砂を深めにして容器を少し沈めるように差し込むことでしょうか。以前はシステムトイレの下段にラップを敷いて採っていましたが砂の変更に伴いお玉で採取を試みていました。お玉でも出来るのですが手から柄を離せない。傾けて置くとこぼれちゃうんですね。この商品は底が平で安定しているので慌てなくても砂の上に一度置いてから容器に移すことが出来ます。それとお玉と違って縁も低いので斜めに差し込んでもおそらくお尻に当たらない。とてもよく考えられていて使いやすいです。病院で尿検査用のシリンジとスピッツ管セットで100円で分けてくれるので容器は要らず、ストルバイトで毎月検査しているのでpH試験紙も不要。そんな人にも採尿カップだけでも買えるというのが大変ありがたいです。

猫のおしっこトラブルかも、と病院に連れて行く前に先に採尿して持って行けたらと購入。猫がトイレに座ったら、そっと後ろから附属の紙皿を差し入れスポイドで取って病院へ。（phの数値は見れますがそれ以上は病院で診てもらう）結局、少しの血液と雑菌が入っているとわかり、後から猫も診察していただきました。2匹いるし常備しておくと便利かも。

手軽に検査はできますが、警戒心が強い猫ちゃんなので苦戦しました。愛猫の尿検査で使用しています。尿結石を経験したことがあるので、phの検査は病院でもかかさずに行っていますが発病の兆候がないか？を家で、すぐに検査ができるのは助かります。小さめの受け皿の容器が入っていまして、そこに尿を入れるのが難しかったので二回りほど大きめの、お肉を購入した時の白いトレイなどに入れまして、25ml以上採尿しました。尿が入った状態で、pHのチャートを尿に付けますと、3～5秒後に色の確認ができます。丁寧に書かれている、日本語説明書が同封されています。結果に応じて、病院にすぐに行く必要もあります。持病を持っているワンちゃんや猫ちゃんでしたら、病院でも検査が必要です。
