I also thought of giving it to my son who is 9, but decided not to as I understand that it may be frowned upon by some to even have the inscription on any jewelry or the like. But like any issue, there are many views on that which are out of the scope of this review. The workmanship is very well done, all the edges are nice and smooth and it has a nice weight and feel to it. The inscription, while very small and detailed, is still very well-done and all the characters are clearly visible and legible. It comes in a nice black, crushed velvet drawstring bag, making it very giftable.

This is a nice addition to any keychain because its a golden sword, its also got Arabic inscriptions on it. Great little piece to fondle and play with when bored. No sharp corners, well crafted and very unique. 5/5.
