Asterom Handcrafted Canes for Men, Ergonomic Wooden Walking Cane, Oak Wood

Had a little accident and broke several bones in my left foot. According to the doc, a cane will be a good idea even after the bones heal. So I decided if I'm gonna be on the gimpy side, I'm at least going to do it with style. Though the price of this cane was considerably higher than most, I can now attest that -- da-yum -- it was SO worth it! The craftsmanship is evident from the moment you take the cane from the carefully-packed box. In a word, it is beautiful! It feels super-solid in the hand and the weight, while not exactly "heavy," is definitely substantial; it inspires confidence. Also, I'm not a violent guy, but this thing would work about as well as a baseball bat with regard to self-defense. It's that formidable. The handle is meticulously crafted and fits my hand like I was born with it there. The finish is impeccable and the brass band is a thing of beauty. Seriously, everything about this cane just screams quality and brilliant design. I bought a slightly longer one than I thought I might need and cut it down to size (removing about an inch) with a miter box saw. The rubber foot was a tiny bit difficult to remove, but that has to be the case in order to keep it in place during heavy usage. It's also nice that they sent along a second rubber foot and a wrist strap, though I'm not using that at the moment. I got the deep cherry red finish on mine and it looks GREAT. I've been using mine for the past week or two and can attest that it works about as well as one could hope for. It feels like a natural extension of my arm and provides all the support I'll (hopefully) ever need. If you're looking for the best cane for any money, look no further. You're not going to find anything better. This thing is essentially perfect, and that's not a word I use often.

This cane is first rate was packed extremely well to keep from getting damaged --the fit and finish is perfect --is very light in weight but also feels solid wood cane. Very comfortable hand grip and works on right or left hand. I'm a big guy and this cane easily fits me for weight and height. You will not be disappointed

It really is that good. I have a small collection of strong, well designed walking canes, and this tasteful, highly practical model from Asterom (a family business in Ukraine) is among the most well crafted, most handsome and ergonomically inviting of all. Their leather strap accessory is a perfect handy addition by the way. Every aspect of the simple, solid assembly was a gratifying process of discovery of the excellent quality top to bottom, including the impressive metal ring at the neck of the shaft and the overall attractive oak mine tinted in there muted crimson (which as you see is classy enough for any occasion) used throughout the item. I know my exact length so I bought the correct one for me but these of course can be shortened with a simple handsaw at the foot if purchased a bit too long for you. I've only added my personal favorite cap where the rubber meets the road. I've provided the pic so you can see how perfect and how almost lovely it is while also being a solid and practical product for smart buyers. It's also a value at this remarkable price and I'm delighted to buy from a Ukrainian family business.

Great looking cane. .It is a sturdy, well made cane with an excellent finish. An added bonus is has an assortment of sizes. I am 6'3" and ordered the 38" which is perfect. No longer am I leaning over with a one size fits all shorter cane. Fits my hand comfortably both in grip and palm length. This is my go to cane when going out shopping, restaurants, movies ... Receive compliments wherever I go and often asked where I purchased it.

Practical, beautiful, well-made. This cane is worth every penny you will spend on a fist class product that also supports the Ukrainian people as they struggle for freedom. Highly recommend .

it is a very well made cane, however the description was a little deceiving as i thought i was getting a one piece walking cane. (solid wood implies one piece to me) and when i asked amazon AI if it was one piece it said it was and that i couldn’t switch out the handle. i do like it except for that.

I purchased this cane some time ago in anticipation of needing them following knee replacement surgery. This truly turned into one of the best purchases I’ve made in 2025. The handle is so comfortable! It easily supports my weight when walking and does not flex. If you purchase these specifically to assist your walking, PURCHASE THE LARGER FOOT accessory to go along with it. It is wonderful. While I’m recovering from knee surgery, I feel very confident in this cane…being solid hardwood, I don’t have any fears at all of it breaking. The cane design is simple, but very elegant.. feels fashionable and the finish is lovely. It is extremely important you get the correct size, though, so follow their measurement instructions on the purchase page. I did. It was a perfect fit. I definitely recommend this cane to anyone who wants something that is supportive and more fashionable than a standard cane. You won’t regret the purchase. But do keep in mind that this cane is solid wood, so if you plan to use this cane for a long period of time and expect to use it in inclement weather or wet conditions often, you might want to consider metal or carbon fiber instead.

Excellent quality, craftsmanship, and durability. I wanted a stylish but practical cane that would hold up to daily use and stand out as classy accessory. This cane meets my needs. I am also happy to support a Ukrainian family owned company. This is not a flimsy “Made in China” product - and yet is a reasonable price.

A great walking stick, very strong and sturdy with great support or you. It looks fantastic with its shaped handle that is very comfortable to hold. Very glad I bought it.

Super product, well-made and it's great to find a quality product from Ukraine. The options list is small on the Amazon site, a brochure which came with the cane showed many more colours and several length options. The caramel I purchased is fine, an attractive stain of the oak these sticks are made from. The standard length is 36" and that proved to be close to optimum for me. The cane feels sturdy, without being especially heavy, and the grip feels good in either hand. The hanger loop which comes with the cane looks a bit light, but it fits well and I've found it to be really handy. Overall, a fantastic walking stick whose quality justifies the price tag.
