ROC-lon® 100% Cotton 44/45" Wide Woven Ticking Fabric for Sewing Quilt Craft Home Décor, Stripe Navy - 5 Yard Precut

I originally purchased this fabric because I wanted make reusable, cloth Christmas gift wrappings. I knew they would look a bit "farmhouse" and primitive but I was fine with that. It works well with my vintage decor. I ended up loving it for wrapping material. I did not wash it and it is very stiff with starch but that worked great for wrapping. Some I made into flat wrappings and others into gift bags. The red color is perfect...a true medium cherry red...not scarlet....not wine. The white threads are really cream as you can see compared to the white crocheted throw. It is weighty and feels very durable. Even if I find I need to wash these wrappings from time to time, I know they will last for **years**. I even lined a wool cross-body bag I made with this fabric and the tight, heavy weave helped give the bag some body/structure. The stripe is truly woven in, not printed. I've now purchased MORE of this fabric...I don't even know what I'll make with it but it is so attractive, durable, and reasonably priced, I couldn't pass on the opportunity to have more in my stash. As I said, I haven't washed it so I can't speak to its color-fastness or shrinkage but, I suspect those won't be real issues.

Perfect striped ticking, just as expected. An ivory color super sturdy canvas with a nice muted red woven striping.

I LOVE this fabric, it is beautiful! I ordered 2 yards and it came in a continuous piece, which is what I needed. Already considering getting the navy version!

Extremely stiff, durable ticking! I'm going to have to wash it a bunch of times but I can't wait to use it for my project!

I bought this fabric as a holiday cover for my half wall between the living and dining room - a sort of giant table cloth. It works perfectly for that. It adds subtle holiday color, and it looks wonderful on the half wall. The fabric is rather stiff. It's very thick duckcloth. I would not want to wear it at all, but it works very well as a table top cover. I have not washed it, so I don't know if it would soften up after being washed and dried. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of how stiff it is, but it is totally working for what I bought it for.

Perfect fabric for projects . Great quality

I ordered this fabric to make cushions for a breakfast nook in my kitchen. Once it arrived I realized I would need a couple more yards and immediately repurchased the same exact fabric within 12 hours of the first order. The second round of fabric I received was pretty different from the first. A bit scratchier and the white was more beige. I attached a picture so you could see the difference. I do like this fabric but I’m put off by receiving two different fabrics and no way to try and get some that would match. I ended up still using it and you can only really tell if you’re looking straight at them and in certain lights it is more obvious. Overall, I liked the fabric but do not buy if you need them to be exactly the same.

This fabric is amazing! A classic ticking stripe in an insanely sturdy weight. I got two wingback chairs reupholstered and one bolt was enough for the chairs and cushions, plus removable arm caps and back rest covers. I highly recommend this fabric.
