I bought these to hang wet swim suits and handwashed items on my last cruise. The loop on them makes it easy to hang them in various places. These fit over the frame of our balcony chairs (see pic). Using these made my wet items much less likely to blow away. They are too small to use as a clamp for beach towels, but depending on the chair, they can be used to clip the edges (provided there is a frame for the loop to go onto). I used these to clip a hand towel onto a balcony chair so they were softer to prop my legs up on and the towel wouldn't blow away. I wish I had taken a picture of it to illustrate. These will now be an essential item on all my trips, not just cruises. I did take a star off of durability because I'm not sure these will last a really long time. One of the clips popped open already but I was able to wrangle it back in place. I suspect after a lot of use and exposure to weather, they will slowly bite the dust.

I bought these for an upcoming cruise to use by the pool but once received I noticed the "clamp" part was very small & didn't seem to be very strong. I don't believe these will fit on a beach towel & the lounge chair. I'm not sure they were even strong enough to hang wet bathing suites from either.

thought these where much bigger but worked great to clip our swim wear on the chairs in the balcony from the cruise ship so they wouldn't fly away.

exactly clothespins, as the photo. very firmly clamped fabric. good value for money, works well!\

These are small clips that are more like clothes pins. There is no way these will hold a towel.

much smaller than i expected. Works only for clipping to thin areas...not for use with thick chairs. Will need to buy bigger ones...
